Being me, means being guarded even when I'm around the people I trust. I feel that one day I might burst though, and all my hidden secrets will be discovered.
Zayn showed me a side to the world that I didn't even know existed--it was his perspective of life. I didn't know one could go through so much pain in their pasts, which meant they're in their, hard, cold state now. But that's really not the case with Zayn, not anymore anyway. His guards are down, and his cards are all on the table...
So I thought.
One secret that could blow whatever relationship we have together. One secret that would make me regret everything we shared. Was it that bad? Or was I just over-reacting?
Zayn Malik was the bad boy that everyone feared. People would hear rumors about him, always staying clear from him thinking that one mistake could make him snap. Me? I didn't care what anyone thought of us. Because if I had him, and he had me, everything would be fine. Everyone's opinion is invalid when it comes to us.
"You're mines, Sophia." he tells me gravely, voice full of seriousness that makes me roll my eyes at him.
He smirks in return before adding, "and I'm yours."
He holds me in his arms as we watch the tide lap against the shore taking in our surroundings because the next day, or maybe in a few hours, we wouldn't be witnessing this beautiful view.
We would have to leave before people figured out who we are and turn us into the police. We're not criminals. I've never actually done anything bad in my life, yet people don't understand that. They think just because I'm with 'Zayn Malik', it instantly means I'm just as bad as him. But he's not even bad?
People don't see that. They only see the rumors and lies that are spread about the one I love.
They don't see the demons that are inside him, making him the broken guy he is today.
