The next morning had been calmer then the previous night, but you could just feel the awkward atmosphere between Nathan and Zayn. I want to go and force them to make up but then again, they're in control of their own actions; if they want to hate each other then so be it. Immature idiots.

"Good morning, darling. Did you sleep well?" Siva was awake before me which was strange because I was so used to being the first one up. He was cooking in Nathan's small kitchen, and it honestly smelt so good!

"Hey. Yes I guess so, apart from the fact Zayn was grumbling about Nathan's behaviour as if he was inappropriate. What about you?" I grab a mug and start to boil the water in the kettle. Nathan will be wanting his tea as soon as he's awake, so I better be prepared. He usually has his tea, grabs a toast and heads off to the university on the weekdays.

"I'm alright thank you. Jay's snores for once didn't keep me up!" Siva lightly laughed before turning his attention back to the frying pan where he was cooking eggs and bacon. My stomach growled immediately.

"Okay, it's done so you eat up before the guys all come down. You need fattening up young lady!" I didn't even argue because Siva's food always made me hungry and I can't deny it.

"Baby." I turned around to the sound of Zayn's voice after I had put away a clean plate form breakfast. Jay was washing up while I was drying and putting away.

"I'm sorry for last night. I will apologise to Nathan as soon as he comes home." Zayn tells me and I suddenly drop the next mug I had picked up. Luckily it didn't smashed. Instead of being concerned, Jay let out a hysterical laugh-throwing his head back.

"Did you just say you to go... apologise?!" I gasped dramatically, smacking my hand over my mouth with my eyes wide and Jay did the same.

"Ha ha. Very funny guys, but yeah I did. I do want to because what I said really wasn't called for." Jay and I exchanged shocked looks and we had to hang onto the counter behind us otherwise we'd faint. Zayn rolls his eyes, kisses my cheek and walks out of the kitchen being unhelpful to us. Lazy.

As I dry up I notice Jay is staring at me intensely with a face full of concern. I look up at him and raise an eyebrow.

"It's okay not to smile sometimes. You don't have to always pretend everything's alright." he commented randomly, frowning slightly.

"Uh, okay then..." I say before picking up another plate and he places his hand on mines.

"I'm serious. Zayn is hard work and I don't know how you cope with him so well. You really do have him wrapped around your pinkie finger, though. It's amazing to watch him talk to you in the way that he does, and the way he stares at you is lovely. If Tom was here he'd slap me for speaking so romantically but you both are meant to be. Sometimes Zayn forgets that, but he'll always remember even if it's an hour later. He really loves you, Sophia." Jay smiles at me and I smile right back. I guess he's right because I smile when I sad as well, to hide the pain.

"Sometimes I forget that he does love me, Jay. He just acts so... what's the word? There isn't a word to describe the way he is! Anyway, I wouldn't say we're so meant to be because there are so many obstacles in our path... might I add when Zayn bothers to enlighten you on the newest bombshell, you'll then realise how we're so not meant to be." I sighed, remembering about Caitlin and the child she's carrying. Zayn's child, my Zayn.

"I'm sure it's not bad and you're only exaggerating." oh Jay, I wish I was.

You'll see. You will see.
