Ch. 2: The princess? (part 1)

Dumating ng maaga si Jeryll sa school kinabukasan. Walang pang masyadong mga tao dun kasi nga maaga pa. When she arrived at their classroom, napansin niyang may nauna na palang dumating sa kanya.

She gasped.

Si Wave yun!

He's sleeping on his desk. Jeryll sighed.

Ano pa bang bago? Pumapasok lang ba talaga siya para matulog at pagkatapos magka-cuttibg classes after lunch?! Anong akala niya sa klase namin, half day?!

Umupo na si Jeryll sa upuan niya sa tabi ni Wave. Binuksan niya yung bag niya at nilabas yung jacket ni Wave.

Ibabalik na niya ito sa lalaking ito bago pa siya ma-headline dahil dito. Baka kasi ma-misunderstand ng lahat ang sitwasyon. Sabihin pang nilalapitan niya ang "PRINSIPE" nila.

Yes tama ang nabasa niyo. Eventhough Wave's new in school, he has his own legion of screaming girl and even boy fans ha. And surprisingly, mas marami pa ito sa inaakala mo na magiging fans ng isang estudyanteng tatlong araw pa lang sa school.

Jeryll knows that if the news of prince Wave giving his jacket to a poor scholar like her spread, siguradong malaking kaguluhan ang dulot nito sa school life niyang hindi na nga ganoon ka-peaceful. She doesn't want to have the whole school to be her antifans, wala nga siyang kahit isang fan eh.

The classroom door opened stopping Jeryll's train of thoughts. Tiningnan niya kung sino ang pumasok.

It was Nicole, ang student council president at kaklase niya simula pa nung freshman. She's the most popular and most loved girl in school. Well, hindi naman talaga nakakapagtaka kasi mabait siya at magalang.

Nicole greeted her with a smile na sinagot din naman ni Jeryll ng isang smile. Nicole is the only one, bukod sa tatlo niyang kaibigan, ang ngumingiti kay Jeryll.

No doubt, she's really good hearted.

Lumapit si Nicole sa upuan ni Wave and gently shook the guy.

Nagulat si Jeryll. Magkakilala silang dalawa?

"Wavey, wake up."

Ha? Wavey?!

Nagising si Wave at umupo. Then his eyes widen when he saw who's waking him up.

"Nikki! You've arrived!"

What! Nikki?! Si Nicole?!

"Yeah, sorry kung wala ako dito sa school simula nung first day mo. Apparently my father made me accompany him in his business trip. Pero I'm back now, bestie," she said, smiling.

Bestie?! Wait! Bestie?! As in bestfriend????!!!

"Nikki, I'm hungry. Hindi pa ako nagbe-breakfast eh."

"Oh really? Sige, let's go to the cafeteria. It's my treat! Gusto mo sumama, Jeryll?"

Nagulat si Jeryll sa biglang tanong. She shook her head vigorously. Nicole chuckled.

"Sige. Let's go Wavey!" she announced.

"Yehey!" Wave exclaimed.

Then the 2 left linking arms like children going to the zoo. Jeryll was left alone in the room dumbfounded and confused.

Seriously, anong nangyayari?!

"Class dismissed."

Mr. Santos said to the class. The whole class shouted in joy na parang mga presong nakalaya na. Well, kahit na magaling si Jeryll sa Math, Mr. Santos teaches monotonously. Jeryll yawned, hindi pa rin pumapalya ang Math class nila na patulugin siya pati na rin ang mga classmates niya.
