Finally, Aang spoke up. "Where is he?" he asked angrily. "Where is the Fire Lord?!" Azula grinned again. "You mean I'm not good enough? You're hurting my feelings," she said sarcastically. "You have to have a soul to have feelings," I said coldly. "Ouch," she said, just as sarcastic as the first time. "Nasty." Sokka unsheathed his sword, Toph and Geo raised their fists, Aang brandished his staff, and I pulled out my sword I swiped from the soldier while also raising my right fist, prepared to fight. "Stop wasting our time and tell us where he is!" Sokka said. "And stick to the truth!" Toph said. "We'll know if you're lying!" Azula grinned again, like she knew something we didn't. "Are you sure?" she said. "I'm a pretty good liar." Then her face became expressionless. "I'm a four-hundred pound purple platypus-bear with pink horns and silver wings." I couldn't feel any vibrations in the earth, the way Toph told me. If someone's lying, you can tell because their heart rate speeds up and their body starts nervously shaking. But I didn't feel any of that from Azula. Her body was completely still, her heart rate was normal. I knew she was lying but if she was just talking and I didn't know what she looked like, I would have believed her. Toph paused for a second and then said, "Okay, you're good, I admit it." She brought up her fist and encased Azula in earth. "But you really ought to consider telling the truth anyway!" Azula smirked. Suddenly, her prison started to crack and crumble. Soon she was free. We were all shocked. Azula was a fire-bender, not an earth-bender. It didn't make sense. "When I left Ba Sing Se, I brought home some souvenirs." Two men in dark green uniforms with round hats, similar to Toph and Geo's jumped down from the ceiling. Their hats covered their faces and their dark green robes covered their entire bodies. "Dai Lee agents," Azula said. Toph threw a ball of earth at Azula, who dodged with ease. Aang ran at one of the guards and the two of them stared battling. Geo threw a stream of earth and I started to bend water at her. Azula jumped into the air and barrel rolled over our attacks. Then Azula faced Aang. Suddenly, a Dai Lee agent jumped in front of me and brought up a small column under my feet, hurtling me through the air. I smashed into a wall and clung to a pillar for dear life. Then I realized, Azula was right under me. With all the strength I could muster, I brought down a wall of earth. Toph punched a hole in the wall and threw the earth she gathered at Azula. She dodged and her and the agents jumped out of the hole. I climbed down and said, "Come on!" We all climbed up the wall and jumped through the hole and ran out into the hallway.
We ran all through the hall, following Azula in hot pursuit. "Wait!" Sokka called. "Don't you see what she's doing? She's playing with us! She's not even trying to win this fight!" "Not true," said Azula sarcastically. "I'm giving it all I've got!" "You're trying to keep us here and waste all our time!" Toph said. "Um, right," said Azula. "I think your friend there just said that, genius. And since you can't see, let me tell you, I'm rolling my eyes." Geo stepped forward angrily. "Don't talk to her like that!" she said. "I'll roll your whole head!" "She's baiting you again!" Sokka said. Geo glared at Azula. "Okay," I said. "So what do we do? Just ignore her?" "We don't have a choice," Sokka said. "We just have to get out of here and find the Fire Lord on our own...somehow," We turned and started to walk away. "It's a trap," said Azula. "Don't say I didn't warn you," "Ignore!" Sokka said pointedly. "Your name is Sokka, hmm?" Azula said. Sokka paused. "My favorite prisoner used to mention you all the time. She was convinced that you were going to come rescue her. Of course, you never came, so she gave up on you." I looked at Sokka. Angry tears were welling up in his eyes. Sokka gave an angry yell and ran at Azula. "Sokka, stop!" I yelled. "It's what she wants!" Suddenly, I felt something with my earth sense. Azula was pulling a knife out of her sleeve. "Toph," I said. Toph stomped her foot and pulled two rocks from the floor and threw them at Azula's wrists. The rocks pinned Azula to the wall. Sokka ran up to Azula and grabbed her collar. "Where. Is. Suki?!" he said angrily. Azula grinned and said nothing.
"Where is Suki?! Answer me!" Sokka said, through gritted teeth. "Sokka, she won't talk," Geo said. Sokka looked at Geo then turned back to Azula. "Where are you keeping her?!" "Sokka, it's no use," I said. Suddenly, we heard a boom and a crackle. Someone had thrown fire. The eclipse was over. No! I thought. "Well," said Azula. "Looks like the fire-bending's back on." She swooped her foot in a circle and blue fire followed wherever her foot went. She threw a fireball straight at Sokka, who was saved by Toph. Azula jumped up the wall so her back was arched and her hands were closest to the floor. The rocks binding her hands suddenly exploded in blue flame. She thrusted another fireball at Aang, who dodged. Azula stood up and dusted herself off. "Dad's all the way at the end of the hallway, down a secret stairwell on the left. I'm sure he'd be more than happy to see you now," We started to run away, but I ran back for a second and said, "Hey Azula, by the way, you're a bitch." Then I disappeared.
I was running alone because everyone else was running in front of me. I stopped for a moment to catch my breath. Then I broke off running again. The gang was way ahead of me now. Suddenly, my foot caught on the skirt of my dress and I fell forward. I lay there for a second, then I sat up. My head was pounding and there was a stream of blood running from my nose. I wiped my nose and kept running. I took a left and kept running. Little did I know, I was going the wrong way. The reason for that was when I fell, my head hit really hard and my earth sense rattled a little bit, making it nearly impossible to run straight, let alone see where I was going. I ran down a flight of stairs. That's funny, I thought. I don't remember going up a flight of stairs on the way here. A door was looming in front of me. I burst through the door in hopes of finding the rest of the invasion force but instead I found...Ozai.
I know it's short and leaves off on a cliffhanger but hey, you all keep reading it. I'll try to update again soon. Leave a comment, or vote. YAY! Luv you!
