I wanted to scream but the sound froze in my throat. Azula had just murdered Geo. Geo! My first friend, my best friend. I refused to believe it, but, there she was. Lying right in front of me. Now I was angry. I stood up, angry tears pouring from my eyes. "Are you going to fight me now?" She said. I didn't answer. I wanted to kill her. She had hurt the man I loved and killed my best friend. But I couldn't sink to her level. So I just stood there, waiting for her to do something else. Katara walked over and stood next to me. Suddenly, Azula sent another jet of fire towards us. Just in time, Katara pulled me out of the way and we ran to the other side of the courtyard. I was so dizzy from anger that I couldn't make heads or tails of the situation. Azula sent another jet towards us, sending us tumbling. As we got up, she propelled herself up onto the roof. Now I could tell she was losing it even more than I was, she was swaying back and forth like a lunatic. "I'd really rather our family physician look after little Zuzu, if you don't mind." She mocked. She spun around, making more lightening and thrust her hand towards us. Katara used the water in the trench around the courtyard to counter it before we got fried. While the smoke was clearing, she grabbed my wrist again and we started running. Suddenly, more blasts of fire flew towards us...Azula had spotted us. We made it to the pillars just in time. There were cinders and ash flying everywhere, making it hard to breathe. I looked back out towards the courtyard, but it was a wreck! There was fire and water everywhere, and Zuko was right in the middle. I wanted so hard to go out there and hold him again, but I had to stay where I was, or else I would have been shot too. "Zuzu," Azula mocked even more. "You don't look so good." I clenched my fists. She was making me so angry. I peeked out a little bit more and instantly regretted it. Azula spotted me and shot more lightening at us. Katara and I ran for it, leaving Azula blowing trails of fire behind us. I spun around and pulled two boulders out of the ground and thrust them at Azula, she dodged on but the other hit her in the shoulder. As she gripped her shoulder, I bended water from the trench and put out as much fire as I could and Katara and I started running again while Azula was distracted. We ran behind another set of pillars and looked back at the damage. Then, Katara looked at me, nodded, and we both jumped out, bended the water from the trench and up on to the roof. But, it didn't hit anything. Azula was gone. We paused for a second but suddenly, Azula jumped down from the roof behind us and started using her fire to propel herself forward. I pulled more rocks from the ground and bended them at Azula as Katara froze some of the water into a frozen path and we started sliding for a speedy getaway. But Azula chased us even more. Even worse, she was melting our track of ice. Then, she sent a gigantic blast towards us, knocking us off balance. We fell on something cold and hard. Suddenly, I heard the sounds of...water! She had knocked us onto the drain. I looked up and there was a length of chain hanging conveniently in front of us. Then, an idea popped into my mind. I looked over at Katara and nodded. She leapt up and grabbed the chain as I prepared to bring up the water. By then, Azla had spotted us. "There you are, peasants!" she shouted. She started swaggering closer and closer. Come on! I thought. Just one more inch and- Azula suddenly brought her hands up and pointed her fingers at the both of us, ready to strike at any second. I quickly brought up my hands, encasing all three of us in water. I clenched my fists and we were all encased in ice. My eyes darted everywhere, then I looked right in front of me. Azula's hand was pointed in a position of strike. If had moved a split second too late, she would have attacked. I looked over at Katara. She bended the water around herself as she moved behind Azula, who was still frozen. She kept the water on the inside of the iceberg melted while I was keeping the outside still frozen. I moved behind her as well to help her tie the chains around Azula's wrists. I was running out of air and I could see my vision going blue. As soon as we tied the chains, I brought my arms down and the water followed. We quickly caught our breath and then moved back behind Azula and tightened the chains extra tight. Then, just as quickly as before, we moved off the drain and back out to the courtyard. I sunk to my knees and started breathing heavily. Katara put her hands on my shoulders and I looked up at her. "We did it." I breathed.
I stood there for a minute when suddenly I heard a groan. "Zuko!" I nearly screamed. I got to my feet and breathlessly ran over to him. He was unnaturally pale, all of the color drained from his face, and he was cringing in pain. His breathing was rapid and cut off quickly. I pulled his head into my lap again. "No," I whispered. "Please don't leave me! I've already lost Geo, I can't lose you too!" Katara quickly started bending the water off the ground and encased her hands in water, then pressed them to Zuko chest. The water around her hands briefly started glowing and then stopped. The pained look on Zuko's face slowly faded to a calm expression. I let out a sigh of relief and brought my face close to his, Zuko opened his eyes again and looked at me. "Hello," he whispered. I smiled and kissed him. Katara and I helped him sit up and he said, "Thank you, both of you." Tears of joy flowed from our eyes, when suddenly, Azula let out a blood-curdling scream. We turned to look at her as she continued to scream and thrash around, launching several streams of fire from her mouth. She screamed and thrashed and finally just slumped onto the ground and started sobbing. I didn't want to watch. I didn't want to see her thrash around and be in so much pain and suffer so much. Now granted, she was a bad person but now, she looked sad, like no one in the whole world cared about her. And she was sobbing loudly too. So now, she was insane, humiliated, unloved, and miserable. It was the worst sight I'd ever seen in my life but I couldn't turn around because if I turned around I would have to see Geo lying there. So I just looked at the ground and closed my eyes tightly. It felt like the world was spinning and it was hard to take everything in. I brought my hands up to my eyes when I felt someone wrapping their arm around me. I look up at Zuko, who shared my expression as he pulled me into him and I sobbed into his shoulder. I can't tell him about Geo, he'd been through enough that day. I shouldered him and helped him inside, careful to avoid Azula.

Well that got depressing.
