The next day, I was feeling even worse. I had slept in that cooler for the second night. I was surprised I wasn't dead. The guard opened the door and escorted me back to my cell. Once in there, I lay on the bench, feeling like I was going to throw up. "Now here's the cell I was talking about," I heard an arrogant voice outside. "The prisoner is a really odd one. She can bend metal." "Wow," said a naive-sounding voice. This time, it was a girl's voice. Great, she was about to get it on with her boyfriend outside my cell. "It's the most boring job in the whole prison. Only once has she tried to escape. But of course, I was there to stop her and make sure she didn't get away. The other guards don't talk about it because they're jealous." One of those guys, huh? I thought sourly. "So, as you can guess," the male guard continued, " it's not very exciting. Alright, newbee, now on to my favorite part," "You know," said the girl. "I was actually just assigned this cell as my first job. So, I gotta stay here. But I'll see you in a while, okay...baby?" I don't know why she hesitated. She almost sounded like she was going to be sick. "Okay then. I'll see you later, sugar lips," Then, oh God, I think I heard them making out. Then the guy walked away. "Yeah right, sugar lips, I'll show you sugar lips, you ass." The girl took out a key and opened the first door. Then she took out another key and unlocked the second door. "I know you're in here," she said. She was wearing a guard's helmet, complete with a visor to hide her face. She wore dark red armor and a very short armored skirt. "Are you here to kill me?" I asked. "What?" she asked. "No! Why would I do that?" her voice sounded so familiar. I swear I had heard it before. "Do I know you?" I asked standing up. "No," she said sarcastically. "We only traveled the world together, fighting evil, dealing with sarcasm and stupidity on the way. And, unless I'm mistaken, you are my best friend." Is it...? I thought. She removed her helmet to reveal pale skin, a kind face, long brown hair, and huge, glassy, green eyes. "Geo!" I practically screamed. I threw my arms around her neck and hugged her, tears of uncontrollable happiness running down my face. She hugged me back. "What happened to you?" she said. "I took a wrong turn in the caverns," I said. "Your hands are freezing!" she said, taking my hands in hers. "I'm all right," I said as I coughed. "Really?" she said. "Because to me you look terrible," "Okay," I said. "So maybe I do." I didn't care. My best friend in the whole world was right here in front of me. "And guess what?" she said. "Zuko's here." "Oh," I said. I didn't know whether to feel happy or sad at this point. I had such mixed feelings about Zuko, I didn't know how to respond. "And even better, he's on our side now. And Sokka's here too as well as Suki, a friend of his and we think his dad is here too, not sure. But the best news is we're going to get you, Suki, and Hakoda out of here." "Really?" I said, with growing excitement. "When?!" She frowned. "I don't know. Hopefully soon." "Hey, sweet cheeks," said the male guard. "Where are you?" "Oh crap," Geo said. "Not this bozo again. I thought I got rid of him. Listen, I'll see you soon, okay?" "Okay," I said. She hugged me again, went out, and locked the door. I lay back on the bench with a huge smile on my face. I was going to be out of here in just a few days.

I don't know how many days passed. Geo came to visit me every day. She told me everything that had happened. They had tried one escape plan, but it backfired in less than a heartbeat. They also apparently found an ally on the inside too. She described as a very muscular man of about twenty-one. "I think I met him" was my response. I slowly got better, thanks to the actual good food from the kitchen Geo sometimes brought me. Anyway, she came back day after day, and then suddenly, one day, she didn't come. That's when I got worried.
