With the warden still in our grasp, we tore through the prison, threatening to hurt the warden every time someone tried to stop us. We ran up flight after flight after flight of stairs. Finally, we made it out onto the upper deck. "We're almost there!" said Suki. A group of guards waiting for us tried to advance on us. Zuko stepped up and put a hand in a fire-bending position by the warden's head. "Back off!" he said. "We've got the warden!" The group of guards backed off and allowed us onto the gondola. "Everyone in!" Suki ordered. Sokka went in first and we all followed after, except Zuko. "Get on!" I yelled. "Hold on a second!" he shouted back. He grabbed the lever to the gondola and pulled it down with all his might. With a hard jolt, the gondola started to move. Then, he did something insanely stupid and unexpected; He broke the flipping lever. He lifted his foot and kicked the lever so hard that it broke off. "You idiot!" I screamed. Then, he did something even stupider; he jumped from the platform to the gondola as it was moving. Sokka and I held out our arms to catch him. He grabbed hold and we struggled to pull him in. Well, I struggled, I don't know about Sokka. I honestly felt really weak. You remember, I had had prison food for a week, and I was pretty sick from being in the cooler so many times. Anyway, we pulled Zuko in and I screamed, "You idiot!" "You said that already," he commented. I huffed and turned away from him. Okay, I admit it. I was worried about the guy. I mean, he was my friend. Was. Even if he wasn't, I was still worried about him. He was still a person, even though he was a terrible person.

Anyway, we looked out to see what had just happened. "Why did you do that?" I asked. "To make sure they didn't follow us," he said. "Way to think ahead," Sokka complimented. Suddenly the cable gave a jolt. Zuko and I rushed over to the edge of the gondola to see what happened. Two people, one dressed in red, one dressed in pink, were dangerously close to the cable. One had flipped up onto the cable and started running on it, making it jolt. Geez! Whoever she was, she had mad balance skills. The one in red used fire from her fists to fly like a rocket. Wait a second. Oh no, blue fire. It was Azula. "What was that?" Sokka asked, rushing beside us. Zuko looked towards the girls and groaned. "That's a problem," he said. "It's my sister and her friend." I looked at Geo. "Geo, Suki, on deck!" The others hopped up to the roof and stood ready for battle, but Zuko stopped me before I could climb up. "Let go of me!" I objected. "You're hurt and tired. I'm not letting you go up there and fight. Geo and Suki can handle themselves." I looked at him grimly and said, "Now you choose to care?!" He stood there stunned for a minute as I climbed up onto the roof.

Azula and the other girl had landed hard right in front of Suki and Geo and were ready to fight by the time I pulled myself up. Suki fought the other girl as Geo and I busied ourselves with Azula. Azula bended a huge jet of blue fire at us. Geo and I hit the dirt. Suki dodged as well. Unfortunately for her, while she was looking back at us, the girl started to jab her side in the weirdest way. Suki's body went limp and she nearly fell over the side. She regained her balance but the girl jabbed her again. "Suki!" Geo yelled. She raced over to the side at the speed of light and caught Suki just before she fell and helped her down back into the gondola. Suddenly, another jet of fire flew past me. I looked back at Azula and prepared to fight. She jabbed at me, I dodged and brought up my hands. Luckily, the air was very humid so I had plenty of water to work with. I pulled the humidity, the water, from the air! I impressed even myself. I guess those lessons from Hama actually did pay off. I used the water-whip technique that Katara taught me. It hit Azula right in the face. "How'd you like to fight someone who can fight back?!" I yelled. Azula growled at me and launched another jet. I hit the deck as it sailed past and jumped back up, with a hell of a lot of difficulty. Azula sensed this, raced over to me and socked me hard in the jaw, cracking it. My jaw started throbbing as I dizzily spun around and crashed on the roof. I struggled to get back up but Azula had her foot on my back, pinning me down, and she was about to blast me. "Zuko! Get up here!" Geo screamed. Not him, I thought sourly, Just blast me already Zuko quickly jumped up onto the roof and said, "This is the re-match I've been waiting for!" Azula took her foot off me and grinned at her brother. Zuko helped me up and I backed away because I knew if I was in the middle of that, I'd be toast. Literally. Anyway, I ran back to the other side to help Geo deal with the other girl. She was really thin and way to perky for her own good. She jabbed at Geo's right arm and it fell harmlessly at her side. What the hell? I thought. Then the girl turned on me. She jabbed at my leg and it suddenly went numb. My brain told my leg to get a move on but it wouldn't budge. What the hell? I said. My arm was dead. Like, completely dead. My mind told my leg to move but it hung at my side, depending on my other leg to hold me up!

Luckily, she didn't get my arm. I used water-whip again. I had to admit, it was kind of sloppy, seeing as I was only working with humidity and not actual water and my body was pretty much the equivalent of crap. Well, I thought I was doing pretty well, when suddenly, I heard a phrase from someone below that made me stop dead. I didn't know who said it, all I know is that it had probably killed all of us. "Cut the line!" It was the warden.

He ordered them to cut the line. We were all going to die. "They're going to cut the line!" the pink girl said. Ugh. Her voice was so high pitched and it made me sicker than I already was. "Then it's time for us to leave," Azula said. I ran over to the side to face her. "Goodbye Zuko." I scowled at her as she jumped onto another passing gondola. Then my eyes widened when I realized what was about to happen. "We're going to die!" I said to Zuko. We watched in horror as the guards brought some sort of metal device to the cable and started to cut.

Those next few seconds seemed to slow down. They kept snipping at the wire until it was only supported by a few small metal wires. Then, all of a sudden, snip...snap!

We were falling, probably to our deaths. I remember screaming at the top of my lungs and then remembering that the cable was made of metal. Purified earth. And not just one solid metal tube, just several wires in a twisted form. Then I remembered, Hey, I can bend metal. It was a crazy idea and also a bit stupid, but it was better than falling to my death. I somehow, with the rising momentum, busted jaw, extreme sickness, and my paralyzed leg, made it over to the wire, without falling off, and wrapped my hands around it. Okay, I thought. I can do this. I gave it all my might. I surged my energy through the wire and, hopefully, was mending it. My eyes were shut tightly so I didn't know what the hell was going on. All I knew was this was draining my stamina faster than you could say, "Fall to my death." Sweat drenched my face and my strength was quickly evading me. Finally, I couldn't take it anymore. "Geo!" I screamed. "Get up here! Help me!" My voice was cracked and weak, I didn't even recognize it. My voice was normally strong and confident...well not all the time, but it was at least loud and clear and I could recognize it. That one screech...it didn't sound like me.

Geo crawled up onto the roof of the gondola and put her non-paralyzed hand on the cable. I got to admit, the strain was lifted a little bit. Then all of a sudden, Geo said, "Look!" I opened my eyes and looked over at the deck we just left and all the flabbergasted guards looking at us. Then I looked down at the wire. It was almost fully mended, just a few small wire that were slowly pulling together and...yep. It was fully mended. We were moving again. "We did it!" said Geo. "Yeah," I said groggily. Geo jumped down into the cabin. I was so tired I couldn't make heads or tails of what was going on. I fell to my knees right there on the roof. Pull yourself together! I told myself. It was a real struggle but I pulled myself to my feet and slowly made my way back down to the cabin. Once I was down there, it was even more of struggle just to keep standing. Everyone stared at me. "Well," I said sarcastically. "that was easy." They all kept staring at me. "Now if you'll excuse me," I said, "I think I'm about to pass out." That being said, the world did one big spin over my head and I was out cold.

Dun dun DUUUUUUUUUUNNNNNN!!! More suspense! Yeah I know you guys probably hate me. I'm probably going to do one more part and then I'm done until the fall. The thing is that I do my Wattpad updates on my school iPad and I won't need it over the summer, unless my teachers wanted to be jerks, which I hope they don't because my teachers are awesome! So this will be my second to last update before the fall. Vote comment, oh, and theres something else...
