A few days went by. There was a funeral. Not a really big, fancy event, Zuko decreed that this would be a private gathering, only people who personally knew Geo. It was basically just Uncle, Zuko, Katara, Aang, Sokka, Suki, Toph (who would have murdered us if we didn't invite her), Chief Hakoda, Pipsqueak and The Duke, several of the soldiers from the Invasion Force, and me. It was a really small funeral, but it was beautiful and touching. Everyone said something about Geo; Uncle said that Geo would always be there when you needed a friend, as he saw between her and Zuko and her and me. Katara said that she was funny and sarcastic. Aang said how she'd always had something to say to make you laugh. Sokka said that she was very sassy and would have left it at that if we didn't give him a death glare. Then he quickly added in a good way. Suki said that she always had something to talk about (mostly it was just light-hearted gossip). Toph said that she was her kind of gal, like a big sister she never had, but always wanted. I mean, seriously, Toph was just about a mini-Geo. Chief Hakoda said that Geo was one of the finest soldiers that he'd ever encountered. Pipsqueak and the Duke said that she always had a new idea for a practical joke and several of the soldiers said that she took charge like a real leader. When it came around to me, I said that she was the one who figured out that Zuko and I loved each other and she practically brought us together. I said that Geo had said one word to me before we became best freinds. But Zuko said something that was the most touching, something that had even Pipsqueak reaching for a handkerchief. He said that Geo was his very first real friend and that she always had something funny to say. But most of all Geo was the only one, up until recently, that could make him laugh.
Everyone wanted her to have a memorial, maybe right in the center of the city. The only ones who objected were me and Zuko. We knew her the longest and we knew that she would want to be buried in a place that was special, a place that only we knew about, even if it was just by some mountain, if it was special to us and we could all get there, she would want to be there. So that's what we decided on. And Sokka and Suki found the perfect place; secluded, earthy, and mysterious. It had Geo written all over it. A little cave, just outside the capital. But no one could find it unless they looked really hard. So that's where we brought her. Toph and I dug the grave and everyone watched as we buried her, wrapped in a quilt made by myself, Katara, and Suki. After she was buried, Sokka, who had brought a slab of granite, chisel and mallet, carved her name over the mouth of the cave, placed the slab of granite at the head of the cave, where the mound now was and carved She will be missed immensely.

I need to stop writing such depressing scenes.
Anyway, we just did something REEALLY cool in chemistry...We made ice cream...out of liquid nitrogen. It was so cool (no pun intended) and it was soooooooo good.
So Valentines day is coming up. What are you Wafflebunnies gonna do?
I'm gonna invite my bf over and we're gonna watch "It's a Wonderful Life" (I don't care that it's a Christmas movie, it's a good movie and he hasn't seen it).
