My cell was a little room with a wooden bench hanging from the wall. But I didn't care about that. The only thing I cared about was the fact the room was made entirely of metal. Perfect! Now all I had to do was play the waiting game.

An hour had passed and I was getting restless. Just a few more hours, I kept telling myself. Just a few more, a few more, a few more, a few-Good God, my mind sounded like a broken record. I couldn't take it anymore. I bolted for the door, my arms ready to push it out of the way like it was nothing. I placed my hands on the door and felt the particles of metal so perfectly push into place. One breath in, one breath out. I pulled my arm out and BAM! "What was that?!" a guard yelled. I proudly looked over at the large dent I made in the door. I pounded the door a few more times when the door crunched and fell out of place. Yes! I thought triumphantly. Now, to find the recreation room and- "Stop right there!" a guard yelled, interrupting my thoughts. I ran for it. "Stop her!" he yelled. I made a break for the hallway, making a sharp left turn. A guard approached in front of me. I clenched my fists and the metal crunched beneath his feet, trapping them in the ground. He tried to grab me with his free hands but he lost his balance and fell backwards into the wall. As I passed him, I clenched my fists, trapping his hands in the metal. "See ya later, shmo!" I said happily. I ran down a flimsy flight of stairs, jumped to the next level down and ran further down the hall, looking for the next set of stairs. Another guard stood in front of me. I gathered up all my speed and strength and ran up to him, hit the deck, and slid right between his legs! I stood up and bolted, leaving the befuddled guard behind me. I'll definitely have to remember that one, I thought pridefully. Suddenly, the very poison that was my downfall before struck me again: clumsiness. I tripped oh so gracefully and fell on my face. I stood up quickly only to be faced by a sour looking man in an official looking uniform, even more official than the man I saw outside. On his head was some sort of head decoration with a flame on it. I ran at him as he brandished a sharp looking dagger, which was longing for blood. "Warden!" someone yelled. That was the warden? He looked like the least threatening person in the world. Sure he looked intimidating, but threatening, hell no. I could take him.

I stretched out my hand and went for his wrist, trying to take the dagger from him, but he swiftly grabbed my wrist and wrapped his arm around my neck, so that his face was right next to my ear and his dagger was inches away from my hip. Any closer and he would have been stabbing my side. He backed into the wall as a base to keep me from struggling. "You are a piece of work. I heard that you arrived here at special order. Now I see why. You are determined, I'll give you that. But you are a fool," he whispered into my ear. "Thinking you could escape from the most secure prison in the country nay the world," he boasted. "But I do give you credit. Breaking out of a cell without a key is not easy to do. I did not know it was possible to bend metal. You have an irregular spark about you that I don't see in many prisoners. I don't know what could have driven you to try and escape. But, now we know not to underestimate you. Do you know what we do to to prisoners who don't behave?" My answer was a struggle. He tightened his grip on me and continued. "We break them. We pound the spark out of them until they know not to challenge us. And that is exactly what we're going to do to you." I felt a cold sweat running down my back. "I'm glad I was clear," he said. "Take her to the cooler while we prepare her new cell," he barked to another guard.

The guards dragged me passed several other cells. I noticed as I passed that several eyes had come to the bars on the door to watch what was happening. Most of the guards we passed snickered and laughed at me. "I know I'm not supposed to ask," I said quietly. "But where are we going?" "You'll see," one of the guards said. I was lead down a dark hallway where there were several chambers. Oh God! I thought frantically. Are they gonna gas me?! The first guard opened the door, which lead to another door. When the second door was opened, a fierce coldness seeped over me. "Welcome to the cooler," the guard said darkly. The other guard gave me a great shove and I fell nose first into a small metal chamber coated completely in ice. I turned to look at them. "Screw you!" I said. "I'll just break out again." "That's what you think," the guard said. "Enjoy your stay," the other one said sarcastically as he shut the door. I looked above me and saw a vent blowing out cold air. My skin became clammy and my entire body stiffed from the cold. I crawled over to the corner and curled up into a ball.

I somehow managed to sleep in that ice box. I stayed there all night when the guard unlocked the door. I opened my eyes and looked at him standing there. "Come on," he barked. I rubbed my eyes and coughed. As I stood up, the whole room seemed to be spinning. I was probably sick from sitting in there all night. I walked sluggishly down the hall, so tired and feeling really crappy. The prison now seemed frightening to my confused brain and it felt like everyone was watching me. It wasn't until later when I realized that everyone was. They probably had nothing better to do. "Keep up!" the guard growled. It was all I could do not to trip on my way there. My tired body couldn't keep up. Then we passed into another hallway. There were several cells but we passed them all. Until we came to another door. It was separate from all of the others, so you could probably guess that I had a very bad feeling. The first guard dug a key from his pocket and jammed it into the lock while the other held me. We walked into a little room and I wondered why the guards didn't leave. The first guard shoved the first key into his pocket. Then he took out another key. Then, something weird happened; I couldn't see the door very well but I could tell it wasn't made of metal. The guard got the lock and shoved me into the cell. I hit the floor and that's when I realized the whole cell was made of solid wood. I couldn't get out!

I know that it's really short. But either way, I hit 480 reads today!!! WOOOHOOOOOO!! *Runs around screaming happily for several minutes* thank you for reading and thank you for the comments. I'll try to update again soon. Luv u :]
