Chapter 12 - Enna

Enna was sleeping soundly before the alarm went off. She moved her hand around, grabbed her phone and turned off the alarm. She adjusted her pillow and blanket, placed her head on the pillow's soft side while letting out an 'mmhmm' and went back to sleep. She was the laziest among everyone in the family. And the most loved one.

'Enna, wake up or you'll be late for school' a voice approached following with few footsteps. The door opened slowly. 'Wake up sweetheart. You don't want to be late on your first day' she shook her, trying to wake her up.

Enna turned her head a bit, opened one eye slightly. 'Little bit more mum, little bit more' she mumbled and covered her face with the blanket.

'No. You'll be late for school.' She walked towards her bed and took the blanket off of her. 'No breakfast for you if you don't make it down in 10.'

'Yes. I'm up. I'm all up and ready to chow down' Enna swiftly got up and walked out the door. She never missed a breakfast. This was one way to wake her up.

Enna got ready for her first day, had a wonderful breakfast and headed her way. 'Bye Mom, bye Dad, bye-bye brother' she smiled waving her hand.

'Bye little sister' Evan waved back.

'Finish your breakfast or you'll be late for college Evan' his mom said while washing the plates. Evan wasn't any different than Enna. Both of them were lazy but hard working kids.

'Yes mom. I'm done and heading out. See you later, bye.' Evan took his bike from the garage and rode off.

'Everyone please take your seat. We have a new student joining us so let's welcome her' the professor said and everyone welcomed her.

'Hello. I'm Enna Foster. Nice to meet you' Enna said with a smile.

'Tell us Enna where are you from?' the professor asked.

'We just moved here from Boston.' She answered. 'I was born here in Denver so it's like I'm back home.'

Evan and Enna were adopted by Mr. and Mrs. Foster. Mrs. Foster was told that she can't become pregnant. After several hardships they decided to adopt. They wanted a son. They met Evan and decided to adopt him. Later that day they saw Evan sitting beside little Enna and promised that he won't leave her alone. Mrs. Foster came to know that they are siblings and decided that she'd take Enna with her too. It's not like she felt sorry for her but instead she grew to like Evan and Enna the same. Mrs. Foster wanted to give them a family. She wanted to be called mom.

Then at a later date after finishing all the paperwork's, they moved to Denver.

'Who do you live with Enna?' the professor asked another question.

'I live with my Mum, Dad and my big brother.'

'Okay then everyone, let's give a warm welcome to Enna Foster' she said and everyone clapped, welcomed and smiled. Enna took the empty seat in the second row.

'Okay everyone, be quiet and let's begin the class.'

'Enna. Hey' a girl next to Enna whispered. 'Hi, I'm Molly' she said with a huge smile. She extended her hand but was cut off by the professor.

'Molly! No whispering during the class' teacher said while writing some bulletins on the board.

'She hates me' Molly sighed.

Enna giggled. 'Nice to meet you Molly. I hope we can be friends.'

'Yes' Molly smiled back.

'Enna! Molly! No talking during the class.' Both of them sat straight with the books in their hand, smiling.
