Fair Nights X Ash Costello

*LACEY'S POV*

I put the car in park, the early morning sun beating down on us. Me, the kids, and the guys decided to go to the state fair today. We got there early so we could use the most of our passes. "How old are your kids? and that will be $43." A ticket lady said, putting wristbands on Jane and Dustin. "They're both 14" I said, giving Millie to Ash while looking for my wallet.

After everyone paid, we walked around, seeing a haunted house type ride. "Okay, Lacey and I are definitely going on that. One of you guys please watch the baby." Ash said, taking my hand and leading me to it. We went on the ride, personally I enjoyed it. It wasn't much, but it was the fact that I kept getting scared by the jump scares (and Ash laughing at me) that made it enjoyable.

We all went on rides, the kids branching off because they saw their friends. We then ate a bunch of food, probably enough to feed a small world country. The sun was starting to set and a nice breeze was starting up. I am loving this fall weather. I was looking down at my phone, not realizing that Ash was pulling me to the Ferris Wheel. It was beautiful, tons of bright colors made patterns. I stared at it the whole time as we waited.

At this point is was pitch dark outside, the only sources of light being lights from the rides and rides that were from the parking lot. Small clusters of stars began to show. We stopped at the top, looking at the tiny lights that lit the fairgrounds. I leaned into Ash, her heart against my ear. "It's so nice out," She says, putting a kiss on my temple. I lean up and kiss her, she kisses back with equal fervor. We soon had to break our kiss because of the Ferris wheel ending. We walked off of the ride hand in hand, the cool air brushing against us.

Nothing was as great as this.
