I need to get more original with my titles. Today's my bday since the title!

Today was Chris's Birthday and I had no idea how to prepare for it. I've only known him for a few months, but we quickly struck up a friendship.

I knew he liked the color black and horror movies, so I based it off of that.
Chris is quite a social butterfly, so I knew I had to get a bunch of people to come, which would also cost a lot out of pocket.

I managed to find a place to rent for a few hours and got that set up. I printed out a bunch of infamous characters from horror films and shows and put them on little signs, and placed one on each table.

I then invited as many people as I could contact, and quite a few people managed to come out, even though we were all under such a time constraint.

I wanted to surprise Chris, so I found out he was out with a friend so I picked him up, and handed him a blindfold. He looked at me and shurgged, but didn't ask questions.

We drove for about a half hour in complete slience, the only sound being the radio. I went around the car to open his car door. He mumbled "thanks" as I guided him to the rented room.

I texted his friend Ash letting him know that we were not too far from the room. "Take off your blindfold." I said to him, opening the door.

"Surprise!" Everyone said in unison. He grinned, looking at everyone that was there. "This is fucking awesome!" He said, giving me a bear hug. "Thanks," I said beaming back at him.
