"I'm so sick of him. I just want to go home." I said to my bandmate, Andy. He rolled his eyes, "Don't be so ridiculous, Charlie. You know he isn't that bad."

"I guess," I sighed, putting on my jacket and leaving for soundcheck. My band, Stalemates, was on tour supporting My Chemical Romance on The World Contamination Tour. For some reason, Mikey and I have rubbed each other the wrong way for the near entirety of the tour. Our conversations only consist of bitter remarks, which has driven everyone mad. Just the thought of his obnoxious blond hair makes me want to hit something.

I got to soundcheck a few minutes later. Performing in front of everyone was the only thing that made the experience bearable. Tonight we were in Portland and the spring weather was a nice refresher compared to gloomy Europe. After soundcheck, I bumped into no other than Mikey himself.

"Char."

"Michael."

I walked away, I didn't have any desire to continue the conversation. I was able to get away for two more hours until I went on a coffee run, and had to have Mikey accompany me. "Nice car," Mikey said, getting into the passenger seat. "Are you being sarcastic, or do you actually mean it?" I asked, turning out of the venue. "Shockingly enough, I mean it," He replied.

"You know, I don't understand why we don't get along," Mikey said absentmindedly, looking out the window. "Hmm, I also wonder why. It may be because our conversations are short and bitter. However, that's just a mere guess; I'm not quite sure." I said sarcastically, pulling into a parking space and exiting my car. Mikey stayed silent as I locked the car, walking inside.

Mikey didn't say anything to me for the rest of the time we were out. I placed the coffee in the green room, where everyone else was. "I'm sorry for what I said earlier, Mikey. You didn't deserve it," I looked at the floor. "I accept your apology, Charlie. I want to move on from this tension between us. I don't understand why you keep pushing me away when all I've done is be nice to you," I could see the hurt in his eyes, which made me feel worse than before.

I tried to bring my eyes to meet his, but I didn't have the courage. I could feel tears well in my eyes, and I refused to let them fall. "I don't know why I've been acting the way that I've been. I truly am sorry, Mikey," I felt defeated as I heard my voice crack. I finally let my eyes meet him as a single tear ran down my cheek. He hugged me tightly, not saying a word. I was thankful that there was no one else in the green room; everyone else had left.

I pulled away a few moments later, grabbing a napkin to wipe my eyes. "Thank you, I needed that," I said, taking a sip of my coffee. "You're welcome," He said, squeezing my hand one last time. Mikey left the green room so that I was the last one there. I walked over to a bottle of alcohol someone left. I took a swig and put my sunglasses on, walking out.

My guitar felt heavier than normal when I tuned it. I could hear the fans shouting as Andy ran on stage. I took a final deep breath and ran on stage. "What's up Portland! We're Stalemates and its time to rock the fuck out!" I shouted into the mic. The fans started screaming as I played the first few chords to our song, Foreigner's God.

Our set finished about a half hour later, and I was dripping sweat. "That was one of the best shows I've you guys play," Mikey said. "Thanks!" I replied, grinning.

"Seems like you and Mikey have finally hit it off," Andy said, hitting my shoulder playfully. "Shut up!" My face flushed, which only resulted in more teasing; I turned to face the stage. I sang along with most of their set, waiting for Gerard to call me on stage to sing Vampires Will Never Hurt You. I ran on stage, even having more adrenaline than before.

"Give it up for Charlie from Stalemates!" Gerard said as fans cheered. I waved at the crowd and went backstage.

"Did you know we get to stay in a hotel tonight?" Andy said.

"You're kidding!" I said, ecstatic. It's been nearly two weeks since we stayed at a hotel. I couldn't wait to take a shower and properly wash my hair. I went back out to our merch table since I didn't before, and talked to a few fans, and then returned to the bus for the night.

About two hours later we arrived at the hotel. As soon as I got into my room, I belly flopped onto my bed. Andy said everyone else was going to get drinks, but I just wanted to be alone.

That was the plan anyway-until someone knocked on my door.

"What's up?" I said.

"Can I come in?" Mikey asked.

I nodded and let him in. "I'm surprised you're here, do you wanna watch a movie or something?" I sat down on my bed. "I actually want to talk to you about something," Mikey said, standing in front of the t.v.

"I understand if you don't feel this way, considering you hate my guts, but I like you a lot, Charlie." He ran his hands through his hair nervously. I stared at him, shocked at what to say.

"I like you too, Mikey,"

"Can I kiss you?"

I went to the door and placed the do not disturb sign on the outside. I walked back over to Mikey and kissed him passionately. His touch was gentle as he hands traveled over my body. He picked me up and placed me on the counter.

"Are you sure you want to do this?"

I nodded.

His whole demeanor changed as he began to kiss more roughly. I was still sitting on the counter, my legs locked around Mikey's torso. We undressed each other as Mikey placed me on the bed.

I heard another knock on the door. Shit. I grabbed my shirt and answered the door. It was Andy. "Here's your bag, go away." I shut the door and got back on the bed, removing my shirt.

"Think we can pick up where we left off?"
