Festivals X Brendon Urie

I woke up to the sound of my alarm. "Get up" I mumble to a sleeping Brendon next to me. He retorted, but I couldn't make out what he said.

I grabbed a towel from our closet as I turned on the shower. Brendon was playing some indie festival today and invited me to come. I agreed, and I was trying to rush us because we only had a little more than an hour to get ready and then hit the road.

I quickly washed myself in the shower, putting my hair in a messy bun. Brendon quickly got dressed as well, taking what felt like a century on his hair. "Okay King Urie are you ready to go?" I said sarcastically as I grabbed my bag and keys.

"Yes my Queen, I am," He said, holding the door as I walked out towards my car. I started the car as we sped to the festival, which was hours away. I knew we were approaching the festival by the increase of traffic.

We slowly inched closer. Thankfully since Brendon was performing, we were able to skip the majority of cars and people once we got on the festival grounds. I fixed my hair in the mirror before exiting my car, making sure to lock it.

Brendon grabbed my hand as we rushed to the stage he was performing on. We were a few minutes early so we watched the band that was playing. I could see Brendon get nervous out of the corner of my eye.

"Brendon, you'll do fine." I said to Brendon, fully turning to him. "Just remember that the moment you get up there all these jitters will vanish and you will put on an amazing show." I said soothingly.

Brendon grinned and pulled me into a hug. I gave him a quick kiss before he was told by a crew member to go on stage.

Brendon went up there and briefly introduced himself before singing. Since Brendon was so popular, the entire crowd was having a good time as most of them shouted the lyrics back. I never felt more proud of him.
