Sharna’s phone rang, on the display she saw it was her mother calling. Sharna immediately tensed and Val noticed, while Sharna got her phone, Val sat down behind her and rubbed her on her back. Sharna answered her phone.

“Hey mom. Why are you calling?”
“Hey babe. How is everything going on tour. Do you enjoy your time being there?”
“Yes, I love it. It is amazing to dance with my family every day. Everybody is amazing and I love it. But you got me worried today when you texted. What is going on?”
“I didn’t want to worry you, but something did happen.”
Sharna swallowed away the tears and Val got a little closer when her mother continued.
“Your dad wasn’t feeling well last night and this morning we went to hospital. Because of his recent kidney transplant he was immediately admitted. I texted you when we were on our way to the hospital. I didn’t want to worry you until we were sure what was going on. But now I can luckily tell you he is doing much better and his kidney is still working beautifully. The doctors think he got a viral infection, which looked worse due to the fact he was using immune depression medicine. He is staying for one night in the hospital, just to be sure. But he will be going home tomorrow or the day after. Depending on how he feels.”

Sharna wasn’t able to swallow away her tears any longer and cried silently in Val’s arms.

“Shar? Are you still there?”
“Yes, I’m still here. I was really worried today. And I think I’m still worried a little bit. But I do feel better knowing dad’s kidney is still working.”
“You want to talk to your dad? Cause I’m right outside his room and maybe you’ll feel better after you have talked to him.”
“Yes, I would love to talk to him. It might make me feel better indeed.”
“But do you have someone to talk to. Because it would be good if there is someone in your cast you could talk about those things, especially if we are so far away.”

Sharna looked over her shoulder. Val had wrapped his armed around her. He would definitely be there for her, but also Peta would have her back.

“Yes, I got some people here with me who mean the world to me and with whom I can always tell my story.”

When Sharna said that, Val smiled at her. At that point realizing she was also talking about him. He looked at the girl he was holding. She was not only the most beautiful girl, but she was also smart, sweet, sassy, sexy, gentile, friendly and caring. As more words came to mind describing Sharna, he also realized he didn’t want to lose her. He wanted to keep her close, not only today, but for longer. Maybe even for the rest of my life, Val thought to himself. He was drawn out of his thoughts when Sharna started talking again.

“Hey dad. How are you doing? Mum just told the story, but I was still worried about you.”
“I told your mum you would still be worried. You care so much for the people you love and sometimes you worry too much. But I’m doing much better than last night. It is probably a viral infection, like your mother just told you and just to be sure I’m staying here for a night or two. I’m really happy they take my kidney transplant serious and keep me her for as long as I need. So you can stop worrying and we will keep you updated on how everything is going. But enough about me, how are you doing?”
“A lot better now I know what the reason for the text was and that you are feeling better.”
“Did you have any plans for tonight?”
“I was going out for dinner, but we ordered room service and will be enjoying our meal shortly.”
“From the way you say that, I’m positive it isn’t Peta who you are dining with tonight. And I also have the feeling you don’t really want to tell me.”
“You are right about Peta not being the one eating with me tonight. But if you want to know, I’m having dinner with Val tonight.”
“Isn’t he the hot Ukranian guy on the show.”
“DAD?!”
“What?! I’m not blind.”
“Hahaha. Well you’re kind of right I think.”
“Just tell me if anything happens between the two of you.”
‘DAD?!”
“What, like I said before, I’m not blind. But all jokes aside. Go enjoy the rest of your evening. Your mum and I are doing great and so you should enjoy your life as well and not worry too much.”
“Bye dad, I love you and get better soon.”
“I love you too sweetheart, bye. Talk to you soon.”

Sharna hung up the phone and turned around to face Val. She was now sitting on her knees between his legs. Val still had his arms around her waist and Sharna put her arms around his neck. They looked into each other eyes. At that moment they both knew they were going to end up together in a short period of time.

For a longer period they had both felt attracted to each other and enjoyed flirting with each other. But right now they felt something more was happening.

Sharna closed the space between their faces and kissed him on his lips. They enjoyed each other for a couple of minutes, pulling apart for some air occasionally. Meanwhile Val’s hands roamed Sharna’s body. They were disturbed by someone knocking on the door. Sharna pushed Val away and got up. She pulled her shirt down and opened the door.

Roomservice had just been brought and she brought it inside the room.
“I totally forgot I ordered food. I was really enjoying the moment I must say.”
Sharna smiled at Val after he said that. She sat down next to him and put the food in front of them. She got out her phone and started to text.

“Who are you texting?”
“Peta wanted to know what my mum had to say, so I’m texting her right now that everything is okay.”
“Sounds good to me, but you also have to eat something.”
Sharna put away her phone after texting her best friend and said: “Well, lets eat right now and then continue were we left off.”
“I like the sound of that.”
