Chapter 16~

Louis's POV~

I set my phone on the dresser and turned towards the door. I sneaked a look over at the bed. Cathie was laying my her back holding her phone above her face.

I watched as her thumbs flew across the screen. She was so caught up in what she was doing that she didn't notice me slip through the door.

I quickly went down the stairs. I walked past the kitchen, but stopped to hear what the people inside were talking about. " Why can't you just behave this once? He's your best mate, Harry!" That sounded like Liam. What are they arguing about?

"You think that changes anything? Well it doesn't! Maybe you should let her choose!" My hands balled into fist.

" You're right. Maybe it doesn't change anything, but this is low- even for you. She's probably under a lot of stress right now-"

"How would you know? What makes you think she's under soo much stress that she can't handle two guys having the same feelings for her?"

The same feelings? No. All he sees Cathie as is something to keep him busy!

I was about to walk in there, but I felt an hand wrap around my upper arm. I turned to see Zayn looking at me.

I relaxed my fists and followed him to the living room. We sat on the couch.

"Don't worry about them, mate." I looked over at Zayn in horror.

"How can I not? He's my best mate, and I can't trust him."

He leaned back and rubbed his hand against his chin

"You, Louis, need to take Cathie on a date." He said it so simply, as if stating a fact.

I opened my mouth as if to protest, but didn't. He was right, which is what sucked.

Well, if I take her on a date, it'll have to be extraordinary if I want her to choose me.

I sighed "okay, what do you suggest?"

Zayn stood up and said " That is entirely up to you, mate." And with that he left me alone to think of an idea.

This is going to be a long night.

Mystery person's POV~

I stepped through the gate door, into the airport. I looked up at the sign. It read: Welcome To Saint Louis, Enjoy Your Stay! :)

I scrunched my face in disgust at the cheesy sign and began walking towards the exit- my boots loud enough to ear over the roar of people, and my carry on bumping against my side.

I shoved a balding man out of my way, too busy on his blackberry to notice anything around him.

I arrived at the baggage claim to get my suitcase, and saw a girl- close to my age- struggling to get her suitcase. I walked over and set my bag down. I reached across the girl and grabbed the suitcase. I pulled it up and onto the floor with ease. The girl looked at me and was about to hit me, I assume. She paused with her hand barely raised and smiled at me. Perfect teeth, not bad- if only the rest of her facial features were proportioned properly.

She held her hand out in front of her and said " Thanks for that! my names Abby, and you are?"

I picked up my carry on, and said "Out of your league."

Abby's hand fell back to her side and her obnoxiously large smile disappeared as I turned on my heels and walked towards the baggage claim my suitcase would be coming on.

I wore a smirk as I grabbed my black suitcase and walked out of the airport, winking at a cute red head I noticed in the Starbucks shop.

The taxi was waiting for me as I slipped in the back, the driver putting my bags in the trunk.

"Sir, are you sure you want to go out in this weather? The storm has just about passed, a few more hours I'd say."

I rolled my eyes. I've waited for this moment all month, not even this storm could stop me now. I can hear her voice already. " Just drive. You know the address."

I am SOO excited! AH!

Um I don't really have much to say.. But I have started a new story. I published the first chapter, totally unplanned. I just came up with it today.. so I hope whoever decides to read it thinks it is good! ten reads is all I'm asking for, just so I know people are reading it, so I can update the next chapter with a bit of hope :)
