Arianna' POV

I spit the blood in my mouth onto the floor, leaning sideways. The man gives me a skin crawling smirk before his eyes glaze over. He was mind linking. After a few seconds, he gives me another punch to my face, making my head snap to the right. To say it hurt would be an understatement.

"I'll see you soon, witch." He says and leaves through the wooden door. Well, he didn't actually say witch but it was close. Just change the W for a B.

I hadn't been here long. I didn't know how long I had been here for, but was guessing a day or so. During that time, I had not been given any more water and there was no food in sight. I didn't know where 'here' even was. My body felt like it had been here for years. I had been abused by a new person almost every hour. It was almost like a routine. I'm surprised I'm still conscious. I didn't recognise the many people who abused me. I couldn't even tell if they were rogues or not. I didn't think a pack member could do this to their Luna though. Without my wolf, I just couldn't identify them. I haven't seen The Rogue ever since our first meeting and wasn't really looking forward to our second one.

I sigh, causing my throat and chest to burn. I grimace and stop all movement until the pain lessens. I slowly lean back, careful to not hurt myself. The bed was already reclined, putting me in a sitting position. I look around the boring room. I had been in the same room as I had first woken up in. I had not moved from this bed because I was still strapped to it. I hadn't seen Dr Wren ever since I had woken up and I didn't really want to see him either. Sure, he was the only one to show me some kind of kindness, but he just rubbed me the wrong way. After a minute of me staring at the door, it opens. I was expecting an unfamiliar face to come abuse me, but instead I found the cold face of The Rogue.

On second thought, Dr Wren would be a much better choice.

I keep my face blank as he enters the room, grinning at the sight of me. I'm sure I looked as bad as I felt. I refrain from shuddering at the sight of his grin. "How's my favourite Queen doing?" He asks cheerily. I just stare blankly at him. I knew he was just messing with me. I decide then and there that I would do the same. It will show that I am not afraid. "I do hope you like your room. I had chosen it specifically just for you." He says, coming closer.

I plaster on a grin.

"It is the nicest room I've ever been in." I say sarcastically and he chuckles. I have to admit though, my throat was killing me. "So you have finally decided to speak." He states. "Of course. You are my absolute favourite person in the whole entire world." I say, widening my eyes for effect. The Rogues eyes held amusement, a surprising sight to see. From what I had seen, they never held emotion. I was already used to seeing his cold eyes. "Don't let your mate hear that. Wouldn't want him to get jealous." He says, now standing next to my bed. I just stare at him, not having it in me to answer. At the mention of my mate, I felt defeated. I quickly squash that feeling down, keeping my face a blank mask. Now was not the time to mope about my mate. I needed all the strength I could get.

"I have some people here to meet you. I'm sure you'll be absolutely ecstatic at seeing them again." The Rogue says and his eyes glaze over for a split second.

I frown. Who could it be?

My unasked question is answered when the wooden door is opened. The four who walk in are people who I never thought I would see again.

Robert.

Melvin.

Isabella.

Zac.

The sight of Zac only confirms that I had indeed seen him when I had gotten kidnapped.

Again.
