"So you decided to wait?" I ask, albeit a little incredulously. My twin nods in affirmative. She hesitated before saying her next words. "With everything that happened, we decided to not have an ultrasound and have the baby's gender a surprise." She says. I nod, taking the information in. Anastasia only had just under a months time left.

We sat outside on some garden chairs. It was just the two of us but I knew our mates were close by. If we were out of their 5-10 meter radius, they would surely panic.

I tuck my hair behind my ear. "Do you have any names?" I enquire. I mean, this is my niece or nephew we're talking about. I had to know. Anastasia smiles fondly. "Teresa if it's a girl and Samuel if it's a boy." Her answer makes me smile. Samuel was our fathers middle name. "Nice names." I compliment. She gives me a toothy grin. "It's not like you had a say in it or anything." She says, her grin only widening.

I roll my eyes. "I'm the Queen." I state, acting snobby. Anastasia snorts, "Queen my ass." I dramatically gasp, widening my eyes for effect. "Do not swear like that, young lady. It is bad for the baby." I say. Now it's her turn to roll her eyes. "Okay one, I'm older than you and two, the baby won't know, let alone understand." She says matter of factly.

I raise my eyebrows. "Whatever you say." I respond with. I knew better than to argue with a pregnant lady. She just gives me a look before turning her attention to the grass area. I do the same and watch many kids playing and running around.

Their joyous laughter filled the air, creating a carefree atmosphere. The children had no care in the world. Everything was right with them. They knew nothing other than the happily ever after world. I wish I was as ignorant as them. I just wanted to live my life in peace and with happiness. But I knew that what I was wishing for - a world without evil - was a world that didn't exist.

After all, there could be no light without darkness.

"Hey, twins!"

Me and my said twin share an annoyed look. We hated being called twins even though that was what we were. We had seperate names and they should be used.

I turn my head around to see Logan walking over to us in a fast pace. He had a troubled look. My Luna instincts were ready to kick in. I was ready to ask him a gazillion questions when he says something that makes me double over laughing.

"I don't know what to wear."

Soon, Anastasia joins me and Logan frowns at us. "You- you are ha-having trouble figuring out wha-what to wear?" I question incredulously through my laughs. I could tell he was getting quite annoyed at our laughter so I tried to calm down. Key word, tried. Anastasia sobers up before me so Logan gives her a pointed look. "Anastasia!" Logan whines, wanting her to shut me up. She just shrugs. I finally do calm down but I couldn't get rid of my smirk.

"So, we having a little clothing problem are we?" I question, raising an eyebrow. He nods. "Where are you going?" Anastasia asks. I could tell she was curious by the way her eyes were the slightest bit squinted. "I'm going on a date with Sierra." He responds, his annoyed expression replaced with a grin. "Where are you taking her?" I ask. "I'm taking her to this fancy restaurant in town." He answers, sounding proud of himself.

I was prepared to forbid him from going. It wasn't safe yet and the both of them needed to be safe. Logan interrupts me before I can say this though, raising his hand slightly. "Relax, it's still in the territory and we aren't that far away. We will be safe." He says. As an after thought, he adds, "I would never go somewhere that would put my mate in danger."

My mouth clamps shut as I'm left not knowing what to say. I couldn't really argue with that logic and I knew that the last part of his words were most definitely true. His wolf would never put his mate in harms way. I kinda just stare at Logan.
