♛ Cameron's POV ♛
I step onto the Late Moon Pack's land, Joseph and Landon following behind me. Today was the day I gave the Late Moon Pack a choice. Whether they want to fight or not. We weave through the forest, the Pack House coming up in front of me. Alpha Shawn stood in front of the house, his eyes on us. As if he were waiting for us. At the sight of him, my blood boils and my wolf growls, wanting to take control. I restrain him from doing so, knowing there would be mean less amounts of blood shed.
We are in front of him in no time and he doesn't even blink. He stands motionless, waiting for me to make the first move. "You have created an unnecessary war, Shawn." I say, my voice a guttural growl. I would of killed him right then and there, but it wasn't right. There was no honour in that. Shawn's blank expression doesn't change. "I wasn't the one who created it." He says and as an after thought, adds, "Alpha." He held mischief and amusement in his eyes but that was quickly changed when I let out a low growl. I felt my eyes start glowing. The fear in his eyes were clear as day and I couldn't help but feel smug and satisfied with the look.
"You created a war when you refused to give me any information." I say, snarling. I take in a deep breath, aiming to calm myself. It barely works but it'll have to do. I haven't been calm ever since my mate left my side. I close my eyes, concentrating on all of the Late Moon Pack, except the children. I feel the connection of the mind link instantly.
"This is your King. I expect all of you to be in the Late Moon Pack's Hall in ten minutes. Leave the children. " I send to all of them and then break off the link. I hear the many baffled gasps from around me, especially from inside the Pack House. "You want to use my hall." Shawn states rather than asks. I ignore him and turn to Joseph and Landon. "Lets go." I say to them and make my way to the hall. I knew exactly where it was. I saw it the first time I came here.
I find the small building midsts trees and enter without hesitation. The building itself wasn't very big. It was made to fit around two hundred people, much smaller to Shadow Moon Pack's hall. The inside was quite bland. The walls were made out of bricks while the floor was made out of polished timber. There was a small stage built in at the front of hall, opposite to the door. There were a few chairs scattered on it. I step onto it, my long legs having no trouble with getting on it. I sit in one of the seats and Joseph and Landon do the same, situating the seats so it's facing me.
"Do you have a plan on what you're saying?" Joseph asks me and I turn my attention to him. "I'm not going to say much." I simple state and he nods. I turn my attention back to the hall entrance and sit silently.
People start filling in and before it's been ten minutes, the whole hall has been filled up. They all stood, looking around and talking to the people near by. I spot William and Tony at the front. I go to speak, standing up, but close my mouth when the door opens with a bang. The Late Moon Pack separate like the Red Sea and reveal none other than the Alpha himself.
Shawn walks towards the stage with confident and long strides. He walks over to his Beta, William and stands next to him. He looks at me pointedly, telling me to start. I refrain from growling at the silent command and instead settle for a glare. I turn back to the crowd, looking them over. Like I had said, there were no children. They now all stared at me, faces filled with apprehension and curiosity.
I clear my throat. "I am here to talk to you all about an important matter. Now I am not aware if you know this or not, but your Alpha, Alpha Shawn, is not fit to be an Alpha." I start and there were many sharp intakes of breath and gasps. "Alpha Shawn has been conspiring with the enemy, The Royal Rogue." I state and watch as eyes widen at the familiar term. "He has something to do with the kidnapping of your Queen, my mate, and has refused to give me any information about the whereabouts of my mate." I pause. "Because of his actions, I have declared war on this pack." I say and the whole room fills with gasps again, only this time louder. My eyes connect with Shawn's who held no emotions and I glare at him again before looking back at the crowd.
