Arianna' POV

I sigh, bored out of my brain. I have been in the same room and in the same place for hours. My whole body was numb. Despite that, the fire in me still burned like the raging flame it is. Ever since The Rogue left, no one has come into the room and I have concluded that it is night time. There was no more light anymore and I could barely see anything. The only thing I could see was the outline of my body when I looked down. But even that was hard to see. I was pretty sure that I was in a log cabin of sorts. That would explain all the wood. I haven't been able to hear anything besides the sounds I make. My stomach has been making whale sounds for a while now and my mouth feels like sand paper.

I purse my lips and hit the wall with my head twice. I needed something to do. Something to distract me other than the pain.

As if The Goddess herself had herd my pleas, the door opens. My eyes go to the entrance before the whole room is encased in light. My eyes shut and a small groan gets let out before I can stop it. The light was way too bright for my liking. I sigh before opening them up again, surprised with who I see when I do so.

It was the little girl who I had seen when I first got kidnaped, the one who brought me water. Her light blue eyes still held the fear I saw before. Her dark hair was tied up in a pony tail. Her small frame slowly walks towards me with hesitant steps. She held a metal tray that was covered with tin foil at the top. Her hands shook so much that I'm surprised the tray hasn't fallen yet.

My eyebrows furrow. "What are you doing here?" I ask her. A girl so young should not be in the company of The Royal Rogue. She doesn't answer and sits in front of me. She uncovers the tray to reveal mashed potatoes, peas and chicken. My stomach lets out another whale sound at the sight. There was also a small cup which what I presumed had water in it. She picks up a steel fork which lay on the right side of the tray and scooped up food. She held the spoon up to my mouth and all I could do was stare at it.

"Why are you with The Royal Rogue?" I ask her. It takes her a while to answer but she finally does. "Because I have to be." She says, her voice also shaky and low. Her high pitched voice only high lighted the fact that she was young. "Where you told to bring this food to me?" I ask her, curious to know the answer. She gives me a simple shake of her head. My eyes widen as I process her gesture. "Aren't you going to get in trouble if someone finds out?" I ask her, my voice an octave higher, causing my throat to be even more irritated than it was before. I see more than hear her sigh before she puts her outstretched hand that held the fork down. She doesn't answer this question but her eyes do.

They increased in fear. Yes, she was going to get in trouble.

She looks behind her back before turning back to me, giving me an impatient look. "Why are you helping me?" I ask, my voice just above a whisper. "Because you are my Luna." She responds after a second. My heart swells at her answer, filling with pride. "I will get you to safety." I vow. I will do all it takes to get her safe, even if it causes my death. Her striking eyes search my own, no doubt searching for a lie. After a second, she looks down, hiding her eyes from me.

But I saw it. The slight glimmer. The hope that was shining in her eyes. I would do anything to get that look to stay. I wanted her to have hope, not to live in fear. After a moment of silence, she brings the fork back to my mouth. This time, I eat it. She gives me a satisfied look which I couldn't help but grin at. Although, I'm pretty sure I look worse than I feel. My eyes land on the cup of water and I couldn't help but just stare at it. I really needed water. As if sensing my thoughts, the young girl brings the cup to my mouth and I drink it all in one gulp.

I really need to stop calling her the 'young girl'.

"Thank you." I say, giving her what I hoped to look like a grateful smile. She simply nods in return, feeding me more food. "What is your name?" I ask after I finished the food in my mouth. I could sense her hesitation even from a mile away.
