One Year Later

"Teresa." I say in a sing song voice. My little niece giggles in my arms. Her light brown eyes sparkled with excitement and her cheeks were painted a rosy red. I grin at her as her mother, also known as my twin, walks over to us. "Teresa here needs to get ready for her party." She says to both her daughter and I.

Isaac and Anastasia had a house built for them on Pack territory. I was there now. Today was my niece's first birthday and the whole pack was invited. Isaac and his little brother, Mark, were decorating the downstairs of the house.

Everyone from the Shadow Moon Pack had decided to go back once they found out that they had a new Alpha. Cameron and I had checked out the Alpha and made sure that the Pack was in good hands. That was a couple months ago and we haven't had any problems with the pack ever since.

Teresa was born a healthy baby. Her full name was Teresa June Philips. Anastasia had wanted to remember June in some way and this was her way to commemorate June.

"You want any help?" I ask as she takes Teresa out of my arms. She shakes her head, "you can go help decorate the house." I nod and walk downstairs.

My mate was out getting the cake with Logan and Ian while Megan and mum were getting some decorations. Ever since the fatal war that ended many lives, peace had swept the land. Most people had called the war The Royal War. I guess the name fit.

Megan had also successfully transitioned into a werewolf. Unfortunately she has not yet found her mate but I'm sure she'll find him soon.

Logan took the position of third in command after a big debate. Sierra wasn't the happiest about her new role but took it in stride. She wasn't too keen in the new responsibility that she had. I didn't blame her though.

"What can I do?" I ask Isaac once I reached the living room. "Can you go to the Pack House? We need more tape." He asks, looking down at me from the ladder. "Sure. Where is it?" I ask so I don't waste time scrounging around. "Its with Damien." He answers distractedly. I nod even though he wasn't looking at me and I leave the house.

Anastasia had gotten her dream house. It was a double story house with a patio at the front. It had a bit of a vintage style to it. The house was made out of red bricks. On the top story was a balcony that was the length of the whole house. The width was at least five metres long. The railing that went around it also went with the vintage style as it was intricately designed. All in all, I knew it was the perfect house for their family.

I start the trek to the Pack House, smiling at people who walked by. There was a particular face that I stopped to talk to. "How are you, Skylar?" I ask. She sat leaning against a tree while watching her sister, Leah, play tag with others.

Sky was now fifteen, turning sixteen soon. She had matured quite a lot over the past year, both mentally and physically. She was beautiful in every way.

She looks up and offers me a smile. "I'm good, yourself Luna?" She responds.

I nod. "The same goes for me. Are you coming to Teresa's birthday party this afternoon?" I ask.

Her smile slightly falters. "I don't think so." She answers. Even now, Sky wasn't comfortable with a lot of people. I give her a smile, trying to reassure her somehow. "You should come. It'll be fun. I'm sure Teresa will love having you and Leah around." I say. The only answer I get is a nod. "Well I better be off than." I say and walk away, giving her one last smile.
