Tulsa's Attractions?

Audrey's POV

I went to my room after Soda had came to bring Smuffy over. I went towards mt closet, I had a box that fell when I grabbed a sweater, it popped open all over the floor, I found pictures and little decorations from my parents room.

I took a few and set them all around in my room, after I finished that I got dressed. I put on a pair of sweats, a hoodie with a t-shirt with a car on it. I put my beat up converse's on, I walked out to the living room, Tegan followed behind me and plopped down beside me  on the couch.

"Where we going today?" I asked Tegan, he looked up at me.

"Well, I was thinking we could look around town, so maybe some drag races, the horse track, the drive in seems like a cool place to go and anywhere else we want to go." He told me, I nodded. He got up and opened the door, I followed him out the door.

Looks like Logan isn't coming today, he has to find a job too, so do we to help pay for bills. Tegan has been looking to work at the race track, Logan decided between the Dingo and some other store.

"Where we off to first?" Tegan asked as he put his arm over my shoulder, I laughed and put my arm around Tegan. Yes were brother and sister, but I;m closer with Tegan. We tend to hang around each other more since out parents died, he's like my best friend as well.

"Um, let's check out the drive in, then get some lunch?" He laughed as I laughed beside him. We walked down to the drive in, we paid and sat down. There were a few cars but not many since it the middle of the day.

"Teagan I'm bored let's got out of here?!" I asked or more so forced him to leave. He sighed but agreed. We left the way we came in, he started walking to a different direction. I followed him, I started walking behind him in his foot steps. He then picked me up and sat me on his shoulders.

He kept walking, then stopped at the gad station, the DX.

"Instead of walking across town, we'll just grab a coke from here and some candy or something." Teagan stated, I nodded. He walked in, I ducked my head. He put me down, I grabbed two cokes and some chips. Tegan was looking at magazines.

"Tegan? Let's go, we don't have all day." I yelled across the small store for him, he walked out of the first aile. We walked up to the counter.

"AJ put the stuff on the counter for the guy."He said, I turned around from playing with the coke bottles, I saw that idiot from last time. I threw the stuff on the counter but put the coke bottles on nicely and turned around and grabbed a magazine.

"What's up with you AJ?"Tegan asked me.

"Nothing, can we just hurry up and get out of here." I said as I gave the kid a death glare. He smirked, then started to talk to Tegan, great....

"That will be 1.75." He said, Tegan pulled out some change.

"Hey, do you know any good places to check out around here?" Tegan asked, the guy stood there, I got so bored after awhile of them talking.

"Tegan, I'm going outside!" I yelled as I opened the door, I ran into someone. I looked up and saw a guy.

"Sorry, I didn't mean to."

"You made me spill beer all over my new shirt, your gonna pay for it" He told me, what does he mean? I started walking away, he looked at me and yelled "Grease!" I didn't get it, he threw his beer on the ground and ran after me.

"Leave me alone!" I started yelling around the parking lot, I saw someone come out from behind, I ducked.  I started to watch the two guys fight, I stayed on the ground so I wouldn't get hurt if I stayed standing.

The two guys stopped fighting, after the second guy won. The other one got into his corvette and drove off. I noticed that Soda was the one who 'saved' me I guess. He grabbed my had and pulled me to my feet.

"Thank you so much, I should watch where I walk next time, shouldn't I?" I said, he laughed.

"You have dirt on your face, stay still." He wiped it off, I thanked him again. I saw Tegan run out towards me with his new friend.

"What happened AJ?" He asked, I shrugged.

"Nothing really, just some guy that got made at me, then chassed me around the parking lot. But Soda fought off the guy for me." I told him, he came closer and hugged me, then put his arm around my shoulder again. He pinched my arm, it's a thing we do.

"Thanks for helping out AJ!" Tegan told Soda, Soda smiled. "Well we should get going, why don't you come over Steve and bring your friend here with you!" Tegan said, great. Steve is coming over for dinner.

We walked away with our arms around each other's shoulders. We went to the race track for most of the afternoon then headed home.

Soda's POV

I watched at AJ and that guy leave, Steve and I got invited to their house for dinner tonight. I don't know if I want to go anymore. Her boyfriend seems over protective of her, now I don't stand a chance with her anymore.

"Soda?" Steve asked me, I looked at him as we were working on our last car of the day.

"Yea?"

"Excited for tonight? I don't think that AJ is a fan of me, seems like she hates my guts." I kind of laughed, but he is right, she does.

"Yea I guess, I don't know if I'll go, Darry might need me." I told him, he nodded and understood. We finished up on the car and headed home, I walked with Steve down to my place, I could hear laughing and everything coming from AJ's house.

I saw that guys with her again, they're having a pillow fight. I stood there for a minute while I waited for Steve to catch up. 

"I'm heading inside Steve!" I yelled down the road, so he could hear me. I walked in and saw Pony, Johnny and Two on the couches, with a huge mess of chips and cake all over the floor and table.

"Pony! Clean this mess up, Darry won't be happy." I told them, they nodded and started to clean up and by clean up, they either ate it or threw it on the floor.  I waited for Darry to come home, to ask him if I was able to have dinner with Aj tonight.
