Boyfriend???

Audrey's POV

I turned around and saw Soda and Logan behind me, Logan came and sat down beside me on the swing. Soda sat in front of me on the ground. I looked around, Logan mopved closer and hugged me, I reached my arm for Soda, he can join us.

He got up and joined out hug, I had some tears down my cheeks. I wiped them off and sat back down. I looked over at Logan who was staring at the stars.

"Why'd you guys come?" I asked them, they shrugged and looked back up at the sky.

"Wanted to see if you were okay, Soda tagged along because Tegan and Steve were so into a conversation they ignored him." Logan told me, I nodded and looked back up at mine.

"Oh, yea I'm fine, thanks for coming for me!" I replied to Logan.

"Anytime!" They both said, after awhile it was around eleven, Logan said he was gonna head home. I didn't want to, I'd rather look up at the stars and look for my star again. Logan left, witch left me with Soda, I didn't want to be mean so I talked to him.

"Soda, is there a real reason why you came tonight?"

"Yeah, Tegan invited me, so I took the offer."

"Oh okay, but you seemed a bit insecure when Tegan was around, do you not like him?" I asked, because at supper, he was kind of eyeing him weirdly and when he would talk to me, he looked uncomfortable or just not interested.

"Yea I'm fine, what makes you think that?" I crossed my arms and looked at him, he sighed but answered. "Yea I was upset."

"About what?" I asked, yea I know I'm just curious.

"You!" I kind of gasped you could say, I looked at him and laughed a little.

"What do you mean me?"

"You have a boyfriend." I laughed even harder at that. "What's so funny? I'm serious!" He said with a stern voice. I stopped laughing.

"What, who could you possibly think is my boyfriend." I asked him, he looked a little tense, So I sat beside him on the ground. "You don't have to say, just don't make up lies." I told him, he nodded.

"Tegan" He said, I looked at him, he continued looking at his feet.

"WHAT!" I yelled.

"Tegan, and it's because your always together, you guys were holding hands, piggy backs, arms wrapped around each other..." He went on and on, I stopped him and spoke.

"Tegan, is my brother. Were so close that we have a good relationship. Plus, why would you care if I was dating or had a boyfriend. Don't you have a girlfriend?" I asked him, he was about to speak but kept quiet. I nudged his arm with my elbow.

"I did, she was the most beautiful girl I saw, till she left me, she got knocked up and decided it would be better if she lived with her grand-ma." He said, I was crying a bit, I felt so bad for him.

"Soda, I'm so sorry." I told him I side hugged him. He smiled a little.

"It's alright, it was for the better, besides she was cheating on me anyway." He told me, I cried a bit more knowing that someone would do that to him.

"Oh my gosh Soda!" I said, I just stayed hugging him, I felt so bad.

"No really it's okay, I've been doing just fine without her." He said, I looked at him.

"No, no your not, I can tell that she had an effect on you." I told him.

"No, it's not her, it's you." He said but mumbled the last few words so I didn't understand but nodded so he knew I was listening.

"We should head back, it's late and Logan will probably ground me if I'm not back." I told Soda, he nodded and agreed with me. We got up and left the park, he offered to walk with me to my door, but I told him no because he lives right beside me.

After I got home, Steve was still in my living room with Tegan. I got annoyed after awhile of them talking, non-stop talking. I was laying in my room, I had the covers up to my nose and pillows over my ears, it was almost midnight.

Smuffy came, he slept beside me. I gave him a small blanket and space on the bed. I closed my eyes and dozed off, with the back round noise of Steve and Tegan watching drag races.

Sodapop's POV

I walked into the house, everyone was awake, except Darry. Steve surprisingly wasn't here, I sat with Two on the couch. The others were all watching mickey, Pony of course was reading a book, Gone With the Wind.

"Soda, what took so long?" Dally asked, surprisingly he is still here too. I laughed but told them.

"We were eating supper when AJ left the house, Logan and I followed, Logan left witch meant I was with AJ, we just talked about random things. Till we decided we should head home." I told them.

"Random things... like what?" Two asked, Dally smirked, witch had them all waiting for me to answer.

"Our lives pretty much, she asked if I had a girl friend, because she thought I was up set and I told her why." I said, I sat back down in my chair.

"Why were you upset Soda?" Pony asked.

"Because I thought she had a boyfriend witch she didn't."

"Soda was jealous!" Two said, he started teasing me and making girly noises. Dally left the house, oh god is all I thought.

"No I wasn't just curious." I stated, they laughed but stopped teasing me. I laughed a bit with them, we all ended out night watching drag races. Pony and I went to our room, the others all fell asleep on the couch and floor.

I was thinking when Pony started speaking to me.

"Soda?'

"Yeah Pony?"

Do you like Audrey?"

"I guess.. yeah, I don't know maybe? Yeah I do..." I told him.

"Did you tell her?"

"Not yet but I'd like too!" Pony smiled and looked at me, I smiled too. We both looked away and did whatever, I rolled back over on to my side, I fell asleep after Pony did.
