More People, Great...

Soda's POV

After Audrey left Pony and I alone on the side walk, we walked back home confused. She said nothing, just her name and about her dog.

"Soda?" Pony waved a hand in my face, I snapped out of what I was doing and looked at him.

"Huh what?" I replied, he just shook his head and kept walking. I kept thinking about her, she was so quiet and seemed like she didn't really want to talk. I gotta find a way to talk to her, then I realized she was going to the DX today to pick up her truck.

"I gotta run Pony, See you after work!" I called, he waved and looked dumbfounded. I ran to work and waited and waited.

Audrey's POV

I won again for the drag races, I saw a the name of the racer. I was about to cry because he has the same name as my dad, Curtis. I started to cry, Logan noticed. He came over and sat with me, I cried into his shoulder. He now had tear stains all over it.

"It's okay AJ, don't worry, they're in a better place now. Remember Tegan and I are still here." Logan said, reassuring me not to be upset. But it's okay once in awhile to cry.

"Sorry I just can't help myself, makes me tear up, reminded me of Dad. Logan said, then started telling Logan memories of al of us, and when mom was feeling better. I cried even more thinking about her, Logan at one point cried too.

"I'm gonna take a walk, I'll be back." I told Logan he nodded, but stopped me on my way out. He threw the truck keys at me.

"Could you bring it back on your way home? Take all the time you need." I nodded and left out the door. I walked over to the park and sat down, I just cried and cried. I saw a boy sitting not too far from me, he sounded like he was crying too.

I approached him but he jumped and left. I feel kind of bad, do I look that bad that a crying boy runs from me? I rubbed it off, I still had tears running down my rosy cheeks. I walked to The DX station to get the truck.

I walked into the store and rang a bell at the counter, a guy with weird looking teeth and a bird tattoo walks over to me.

"Yikes, you look terrible."

"Gee thanks, Im here for my truck!" I said with a bit of tone in my voice, I'm just upset.

" Calm down, you on your time of the month or something? Besides aren't you too young to drive?" He asked, that earned him a slap across the face. He held onto his face, I turned around and ran into someone.

"Baby?" Soda said

"You know this b****?" The guy on the floor said, I pushed him into the wall. Then chucked a can of oil at him. He deserved it, Soda took the second can away from me. He brought me outside while his idiotic co-worker stayed inside.

"What are you doing?" He asked me.

"Um, standing up for myself? What else does it look like I'm doing? Now could someone get me my truck?" I asked with some sass, but he still answered me.

"Calm down, are you okay is what I meant or should of said?" He asked me, I shrugged.

"Yea fine, just upset and not pissed because of your idiotic co-worker!" He laughed, but stopped after awhile.

"What happened?" He asked, I ignored him looking for my truck, I finally found it. I grabbed the keys and got in.

"Family business, nothing you would know about. Also maybe you should ask you stupid co-worker to get some manners or at least ask his girlfriend to leave that piece of s***!" I replied, and backed up, he leaned against the side of my truck.

"He's single for your information, but his co-worker is free." He said, I laughed, but decided to mess with him.

"Tell you other co-worker then to call me! Not the idiotic one!" I shouted and drove off. I looked in my rear view mirror and saw him dancing around or was it a melt down? I don't know, I kept driving till I got home.

I walked into the house, Darry from last night is here with Logan. I smile and throw Tegan the keys.

"Feeling better AJ?" Logan asked, I sat beside him and smiled.

"So much better, how are you guys?" I asked, Logan nodded.

"Great, thanks!" Darry replied, I smiled and listened to their conversation. I got kind of bored so I want to the back yard with Smuffy. I was throwing the ball around till, it went on the roof. I decided to climb the tree and jump to the roof.

I sat at the top of the roof for awhile and watched the sunset for awhile longer. I might be pushing some people away, not my brothers but people in general. But that's only because I lost two important people in my life, and don't know if I can live without them.

I look up at the colors in the sky, makes me feel some happiness, all the oranges, yellows and pinks fade into each other into the night sky with all of the people of the world's dreams. In witch I mean the stars, I look at the biggest star and claim it mine, once it becomes a shooting star, my dream and wishes have come true.

For now it's not going anywhere. I continue to look at my star and see Stuffy down below howling, so I howl with him. I fell asleep after a few hours out here, still on the roof, I close my eyes and let all my dreams and hopes take over.
