I get up early due to the continuous ringing of my alarm. I had kept it last night in the hope of getting my body in shape.

I stare at my reflection in the mirror. I look slightly fat and the fact that I have love handles makes it worse.

I decide to go jogging in the park nearby. I throw on my black track pants and black tee. I put my hair up in a ponytail and grab my earphones.

I stare in awe as I reach the park. There were about twenty five people running around the track which was surrounded by flowers and trees. There are a few benches too which are all occupied.

I start to jog around the track. After completing a round, I notice someone jogging beside me. I try to jog faster but the figure beside me seems to catch up and that's when I decide to stop and turn around.

"Jason!" I squeal in excitement, "What are you doing here?

He laughs and says, "I should be asking you that. I come here everyday."

I look away feeling embarassed.

"Let's continue this while jogging," he says and he starts to jog.

"Hey! You're supposed to jog not run." I say running out of breath as I run as fast as I can to catch up with him.

He turns back with a smile on his face and says, "Who's running?"

"I swear I just can't jog with you, you're too fast."

He stops, turns around and says, "I'll finish and I'll join you."

I nod and start to jog slowly. As I complete a round, he finishes two rounds. After he finishes, he comes over and joins me.

"Do you jog here everyday?" I ask.

"Yeah and in the evening I go to gym."

"Impressive."

"So, I was going to go play badminton with my friends but since you're here, shall we play?"

"Sure. Let's play."

We play for a while until the sun rises.

"I had a really good time. This is fun." I say.

He smiles and says, "We could do this everyday."

"I hate waking up so early though but this would be our chance to meet up. Fine, I'll come for you."

"You do remember that you're coming over to my place today, right?"

My heart beat starts to increase a little. "You know I can't, I've" and before I could finish he says, "No excuses. You're coming."

I give him a weak smile and nod my head. I wave good bye and start to head over to my place. The only thing that keeps running in my head is going over to his place.

I stand in front of his door wondering whether I should ring the door bell. I pace around for a while and finally ring the bell.

He opens the door with a smile on his face. He has a black t-shirt on along with black tracks and his hair looks messy but he still looks cute.

He gestures me to come in and I enter with hesitation.

I look in awe as I enter. There's a staircase from the entrance to the hall. The hall has a huge chandelier hanging above the leather sofa that is accompanied by a glass table. In the corner, there were a number of pots with plants. There's a staircase in the hall leading to the family room.

I follow him down the stairs. There's a huge tv hanging on the wall and a white sofa opposite to that. There's a computer in the corner and on the other side there's a glass door leading you outside the house.

"This is an amazing place." I say as I take in everything around me.

He smiles and says, "All the credit goes to my Aunt and Uncle. How about I show you my bedroom?"

"Sure."

We walk up the stairs to the hall again and then upto his bedroom.
It's painted blue with posters hanging all over the place. There's a long mirror in the corner and a bureau beside it. I notice a guitar lying next to the bed.

"You play guitar?" I ask excitingly.

"Yeah!"

I take out his guitar from his bag and the pick from the pockets. I start to play Love story by Taylor Swift.

He looks in awe.

"I didn't know that you played the guitar."

"There's alot you don't know." I say with a smile.

"I want to know everything about you. How about we start now."

"Alright. Ask me anything."

"Well, you never told me about the guy you used to have a crush on."

"There's really nothing to say. You know how you sometimes have this image in your head that this person is like this but then later on you realize that they're nothing like that and it was all in your head."

"It's alright. If you don't want to," and before he could finish I say, "He used to make me feel like I was the worse person alive, he keeps telling me that I have a bad personality and that I should change but when I ask him what I need to change, he just says you need to change. I used to feel so bad and I even tried to change but I couldn't. What's worse is whenever I say something he'd be like you know that everyone is saying that the guy you call as a brother is more than than to you and it's not that kind of a relationship. Even though he knew I liked him yet he went on telling me that."

I couldn't hold back my tears. I was breaking down in front of him. I hated that.

"It's alright. Let's not talk about this."

"Do you think I'd be so cheap to call someone my brother if I liked him and that too the guy I liked said all this."

He pats my head and says, "It's okay. How about I enlighten your mood. Let's play guitar together."

"How? There's only one."

"I'll show you."

He puts the belt on the guitar and hangs it on my neck. He stands so close behind me that I could feel his breath on my neck and I could feel my heartbeat raising.

"What do you want to play?"

"I don't know much. Just that and a few more."

"I'll teach you. Just place your finger on C,D,E and strum it."

I place my fingers and strum it but no sound comes.

He presses my fingers harder and strums it.

"You've got a lot to learn but don't worry I'm here to teach you."

"I'll get my guitar next time."

He moves back, spins me around and with a sly smile, he says "Why? Is this uncomfortable for you?"

"No. It'll be hard for you to teach me, that's why."

"I'll manage."

"Then it's fine," I say with a weak smile.

"What do I get in return for being your tutor?"

"You've got something in your mind, so why don't you tell me what you want."

He moves in closer and says, "I'll tell you after I finish my first lesson."

"No! I want to know now," I say feeling nervous.

He laughs and says,"Why are you so scared? Chill. It's an easy task. Now let me drop you at your place, it's getting late."
