21. Meeting The CEO

I arrive at a huge building that looks extraordinary. Unlike my other office, this is thrice the size of it. There's a huge pathway in the middle surrounded by grass. There are several fountains at each corner right beside a tree.

I walk down the pathway and enter the building. It's filled with a long set of black cushions, lightning didn't seem to be required as the huge glass door allowed a great amount of sunlight inside.

I noticed a lady with blonde hair and fair complexion looking at me.

I walk up to her and explain everything. She asks me to follow her and I do as she says until we stand at an office. She knocks on the door and motions me to enter.

I enter the office and shut the door behind me only to be faced by the back of the CEO.

Should I just wait for him to turn back or should I clear my throat to make my presence known?

I decided to go with the former and continue to wait. When there isn't any kind of movement, I decide to clear my throat and that's when the CEO started to turn around.

A guy with shiny blond hair complementing his fair skin and blue eyes makes eye contact with me.

He's nothing compared to Jason.

Stop. Don't think about him.

"Are you looking for someone?"he asks bringing me back to reality.

"I've just been transferred from the other branch."

Before he could respond, a key started to click and the connecting door to the other office opens and a guy walks in. He quickly dismisses the guy and locks the door.

Jason. I never thought I'd see you again.

Don't be happy. You're supposed to be angry.

I immediately get up from my seat, grab my files and head towards the door only to find it locked.

Once I turn back, I see Jason with a smirk on his face heading towards me.

Move backwards.

I would if i could.

I was stuck and there was only one thing I could do.

"Stop right there. Don't come closer," I say.

"What would you do if I did?" he asks as he continues to move closer.

"I'd scream," I say regretting it immediately realizing how stupid that sounded.

He laughs and says,"The walls are sound proofed."

"I'd push you then."

Like you have the strength.

With a smile on his face he says," I'd like to see you try."

Before I could process anything, he places both of his hands on the door beside my head and starts to press his body against mine and at that instant all I could feel was the smell of his cologne. His cologne is spicy and intoxicating. There's a subtle note of sage to it.

Oh god. I missed him so much.

Shut up. You're mad at him, remember? Remember all the reasons why.

I try to push him away but it's of no use, he doesn't move an inch.

My body starts to shiver once he starts to whisper in to my ear, "Did you miss me?"
