Late once again! I apologize. Well, as you may have (or may not have) noticed, I already changed the title on my story, and wrote Watty Awards up there! So I'm going to go for it! Yay! Please support me by voting/fanning/commenting!

Oh yeah! I need to start putting a cast together for this story, so if anyone has any ideas for Princess Evelynn, Prince Auden, Lord Percy, King Stanton, Queen Larissa, Prince Gavin, and Lady Amelia, please comment and tell me who you think the person should be and for what character.

Thanks!

Somehow, I managed to make it to my chamber. Along the way, I spotted a servant and instructed him to bring the doctor to my room. A knock on my door sounded a few minutes later.

“Enter.” I called, seated on the edge of my bed.

A woman stepped into the room and bowed to me. “Milady.” She said. She turned around and shut the door, then came towards me. Bowing once again, she spoke “Milady, my name is Rebecca. I am the Royal Family physician. Please allow me to tend to your injuries.”

“Yes, of course.” I rose from my bed and met her at the couch.

“May I ask where you are injured?” She questioned while removing the needed tools from her bag.

“I have multiple cuts over my arms, a few on my side, and my back crashed into a tree.” I admitted sheepishly.

Rebecca paused and stared at me in shock. She resumed preparing and instructed me to remove my tunic so that she may examine my back. I took off my shirt with great care, wincing each step of the way. Shivering, I tossed the sullen garment on the ground near the door. I pulled one of the thin linen sheets off of my bed and hugged it over my bare chest feeling a draft in the room. Sauntering over to the foot rest next to the couch, I lowered myself onto it. Rebecca rounded the couch and set her materials down right next to her. I glimpsed a pan of water, a couple of washcloths, some bandages, and a jar of some mysterious gel.

I faced straight ahead and snuggled the blanket as close to me as possible. Rebecca went to work using one of the washcloths that was soaked in water to clean my back. I winced as the cold rag came into contact with my skin. Immediately, goose bumps broke out all over my body.

“How is it?” I asked tentatively.

“Well, the wound itself is shallow, but it covers almost all of your back, Milady.” She answered. “I will just need to clean it, apply the herbal remedy that I have brought, and then bandage the area. That should be all that is required.”

“Then that is good, I suppose.”

“It is actually more than good.” She added.

“How so?” I cocked my head to the side.

“If you would have hit the tree only a couple of inches more centered on your spine, then the damages would have been very extensive.”

A silence settled over me as I let her words fully sink in. “…I see…”

I sat quietly as Rebecca tended to my injuries. Every now and then, I would wince or let out a small cry when she touched somewhere sensitive on my back. Every time, she would apologize when she hurt me. Finally, it was time for her to bandage me. I stood and dropped the blanket to the ground. I spread my arms out to my sides and let Rebecca wrap the bandage around and around covering every inch of my back and stomach. She tied a knot in the bandage and told me I could lower my arms.
