I'm Sooooooooooo sorry for the really late upload!! I just could not think about what to write for this chapter! I had Advanced Placement testing for college (I'm still in high school, but I'm in a college level class) and I was so stressed out about that! >.< But, it ended on Thursday and I feel SUPER relieved. Whew. Glad that's over with.
Despite the amount of time it took me to write this chapter, I still couldn't think of much, so it kind of ended up being a little short. Sorry about that!
So, I'll stop talking, and I hope you enjoy Chapter 20!

“For as long as I can remember, I have always been told what to do…” Prince Auden started.
It was when I was still very young; perhaps three or four years old. I was running around the castle when I bumped into my father.
“Auden! What foolishness is this?” He exclaimed.
“Father, I was just—”
“Cease your nonsense at once! You are the Prince of Tyron!”
Six years later, when I was learning some of the basics of school before I entered, I remember my tutor always reminding me, “You mustn’t do such childish things Milord; you are a Prince.”
“Please refrain from such things, young master, you are royalty.”
“You cannot do that sir, you are a Prince.”
“You are a Prince.”
“You are a Prince.”
You are a Prince.
For as long as I can remember, I was always told those words. I was always being told what to do; where to go; how to behave; how to live.
I never had a chance to think for myself, to make any of my own decisions. I could never do anything without other people telling me it was wrong or that I was not allowed to do that.
One day, I got so angry with my parents that…I ran away.
A cart was leaving the castle at night to deliver some materials to the village. I snuck into the back of the cart and hid under the blankets.
As soon as I was moving, I felt a surge of satisfaction. I felt like I finally did something on my own.
I watched as a melancholy smile spread across Prince Auden’s face. To be controlled like that all of his life; I could not even imagine it.
When the cart lurched to a stop, I was jolted awake. Without even realizing it, I had fallen asleep.
I rushed to get out of the cart as soon as possible, lest I be found by the driver.
Even in the darkness I was amazed by the outside world. There was so much more to see than I could have ever guessed.
I wandered around the village not quite knowing where I was going. It was late at night. I happened upon an alley. Being as curious a child as I was, I walked into it.
There, I was captured by bandits.
I gasped audibly.
They found out that I was the child prince and held me for ransom. The money came the next morning with a palace guard. The bandits released me immediately and fled with their gold.
