Here's another chapter of Royalty! This one is pretty intense if I do say so myself. Haha.
Enjoy.

“Hurry! Stitch the robe quicker! I have a schedule to maintain.” Lord Percy barked as he stood upon a stool admiring his reflection in the mirror.
The tailor nodded nervously and hastened his movements. He stood with his needle and string and began stabbing through the cloth at the Lord’s shoulder.
“Ahh!” Lord Percy flinched and snatched his shoulder away. He seethed and glared at the small man. “Insolent fool! What have you done? How dare you hurt your new king?”
I grimaced as the word rolled off his tongue as slimily as a snail. I sat with my arms crossed making every effort to look anywhere but at the Lord, but as his temper rose, I began to worry for the tailor.
“I will have your head for this!” He leaned towards the small man menacingly as he cowered beneath him.
At this, I bolted out of my chair. “Please, Lord Percy. Be calm.” He snapped his head in my direction. “It was only a mistake. I am sure the man did not mean it.”
The tailor eagerly nodded and voiced his apology, “I am terribly sorry, Milord!” He sank to the ground. “Please forgive me! I-It will never happen again!”
Lord Percy sighed with contempt and waved the man away. “Fine, I will let you go this time just because my betrothed insists.” He sent a mischievous glance my way causing me to roll my eyes in disgust. Returning his attention to the man, he said, “Leave now. Finish that robe on your own. Just keep in mind that it best be perfect.”
“Yes, Milord!” He backed out of the chamber with impatience and slammed the door shut.
I sighed.
“Come now, was it necessary to save the measly peasant?” Lord Percy commented.
“Of course, it was…” I scoffed. “I am not sure if you have not noticed, but that “peasant” is a human.”
“Yes, yes. I am aware. It is just that…They are not worth my time.” He said arrogantly.
“You are not worth my time.”
“Excuse me?” He put a hand to his ear leaned it toward me. “I did not quite catch what you said.”
“I said—You are not worth my time.”
His smile faded. “Perhaps, you do not quite understand the situation you are in, my Princess.” He stepped towards me. “In just a matter of days…you will be mine.”
I crossed my arms over my chest and glowered at the man.
He continued his advance towards me like a feline stalking its prey. “Mine—to do with what I want.” Just as I was about to recoil, he caught my hand and placed his lips on top. “Forever.” His gaze turned sly and made my stomach churn at the thought of it.
I wrenched my hand out of his and stomped towards the door.
The Lord caught my hand and yanked me back into his arms. He breathed into my ear, wrapping his hands around my waist. “You do not have much more time to escape.”
“Release me.” I ordered balling my fist at my side.
He stiffened at my sudden order, then burst out laughing as he dropped his arms. “That is quite humorous, Milady! Making use of your higher status, eh? Well, that will not go on much longer as well!”
