Wow, another chapter already?!? I must be on fire! LOL. Well, I have added a partial cast to this strory, but I still need more characters for certain people like Princess Evelynn, Lady Amelia, and Lord Erin. So if any of you guys have anything in mind, please don't hesitate to suggest any person! I wall say one thing though, I would like the actor/actresses to be relatively young :P Haha!

Can I please make it to 4,200 reads? Pretty please! If the story gets there, then I'll upload another chapter, that I will start writing after I take my nap. Haha XD

My ears were still open to the sounds around me though my eyes were completely shut. I was asleep, but I was not.

I could hear the receding sound of rain. The last of the small droplets slipped of the roof with a soft drip.

I felt my head being laid down on the bench. Then, I was suddenly scooped into some arms. I frowned in my sleep at the sudden movement, but as the person—who I assumed was the Prince—began walking, the rocking motion soothed me back to sleep. I rested my head against the Prince’s chest, and let out a little smile.

It felt so…relieving to finally tell someone; someone who was not my family; someone who would not just sympathize with me, but really understand. So, I really think that way about the Prince?

Muffled voices began to fill my ears and interrupted my thoughts. It seemed that the Prince was talking with somebody.

“What a touching scene we have here.” The other person—a man—said.

“Leave.” I felt the Prince’s voice rumble in his chest.

“Is there a problem, Nephew? Is it wrong for me to be strolling out in the night?”

Is it Lord Percy?

“Get out of my way.” Prince Auden muttered angrily.

“Now, is that anyway to address to your uncle? You would learn quite well to show respect to your elders.” The Lord said haughtily.

“What does it matter? It is not as if the notion would be returned.”

“Be careful, Nephew. You would not want you little rendezvous with the Princess to become public, now would you?”

Prince Auden remained silent.

“‘The little Prince and Princess sneaking out of their room after dark to meet each other’. That would make for fine gossip, is that not so?” I could discern the threat in his voice.

“We did not have a rendezvous. I simply found her out here.” Prince Auden retorted.

“Just as well. I did not think she would come out for you anyway.” The Lord scoffed.

“What did you say?”

“I said; it is not as if she would come out of her way to see you.”

“Why is that?” His arms stiffened under me.

“My goodness, boy; you are dense. Do you not see that she does not love you?”

“What?”

“Of course. You cannot be that thick-headed, Prince Auden.”

Prince Auden’s body went rigid. “You do not know anything.” He growled.

Lord Percy let out an incredulous laugh. “I am very well aware of the situation, dear Nephew.

“You are the son of the man who waged war against her country. You are the heir to the country that ravaged hers. Hell, you even fought along side the troops. How could she possibly love you after all the crimes you committed towards her?”
