(Y/n) Novus POV:
I woke up drenched in cold water I shivered.
"Get up! You should know the daily routine,right?" The Directress said
"Y-yes, M-mam" I said
"Good, Hop to it!" She yelled
I nodded and stood up fixing the bed. I went to the Eating room to have my breakfast. As I got mine it was immediately stolen by one of the older kids.
"Thanks Loser! You don't deserve this anyway so it doesn't matter if I get it" The leader laughed.
"I-It's m-mine!" I said determinedly
"Ohh~ trying to fight back are we? You guys know the drill," he said to his evil henchmen
"Yes of course!" They replied. They grabbed my hair and dragged me outside. They beat me until I couldn't stand up and they left me there. I stayed there for a little while and went to do the daily chores. I didn't cry nor complain about it. I didn't tell anyone because nobody would care. Do you know why? Because it's a normal day in my life.
"Ring! (Y/n) Novus it's your half day off so you are excused for the chores!" The speaker called
I didn't know it was my half break today. I was so excited because it was that was the only time they allow the kids to leave the orphanage. I already knew what to do so I got up grabbed a new set of clothes and dashed off to the woods.
I'm finally free!
