I ran to the Salvatore home with tears falling from my face.  I burst through the door and fall onto the couch as I stared at the running fire.

"Whose here?" A voice asked

"Maya."

"Maya Mikaelson." I looked from the couch and saw Damon.

"Damon..." Tears fell from my face again.  His face went from tough to sorrow

"What happened?" He asked, sitting down next to me quickly, placing his glass of Bourbon on the table.

"K-Klaus..." My heart hurt.  It hurt to breathe... it hurt to think... it even hurt to bring up his name.

"What happened to him?" Damon asked, placing his hand on my thigh.

"He was out in the woods with Caroline..." I didn't even have to finish my sentence for Damon to hug me.

"You didn't know... did you?" He asked, hugging me tighter

"No..."

"He has been fond of her since the day he saved her life.  He'd do anything for her."

At that moment, I forgot everything he had done to me.  All the heartache, all the hurt, everything.

"I forgive you." I muttered into his chest.

"Forgive me for what?" He asked, pulling his eyebrows together

"For everything you've been doing.  You've been right all along." The tears came down my face again, my chest hurt everything I breathed.  I gasped for air as I cried into his shirt.  He rubbed my back with his hand "Sorry... I'm ruining your shirt." I muttered pulling away slowly

"Have you ever been so bent on someone, just to have your heart ripped out by them?" he asked.

"Yes..." I muttered, looking down.

"You ripped out my heart but I cant help but continue to forgive you for all the mistakes that have been happening.  I can't stay mad at you, I can't feel sorrow around you.  I can't think straight when I'm around you.  All I can think about was your body against mine." he said, lifting my chin to make me look at him.

"Damon... I'm still married..." I muttered

"If he isn't being trustworthy in the marriage who says you have to?" He stated softly, inching his face closer to mine each second.

"Two wrongs don't make a right." I said, our noses were less than an inch from each other.

"In my book, they do." He smirked softly, whispering to me.

"Damon..." I looked into his icy blue eyes, they were so alluring.  "I - I want to... but I just can't until the marriage will be done - legally."

"Well lets go then." He got up quickly but with elegance, not breaking the eye contact with me.

"Damon, You'll have to wait for me." I muttered

He crouched down next to me  "I don't know how much longer I can wait." he muttered

"You can wait if you truly love me." I put my hand to his face.

"I guess I better wait then." He muttered.

I smiled slightly, tears still threatening to hit the surface.  "Where is Stef?" I asked, changing the subject

"Probably in his room - messing with his hair." He smirked

"Most likely." I got up and Damon got up along with me.  I kissed his cheek "Wait for me." I muttered then ran to Stefans room with my werewolf speed.
