Chapter 13

I pulled out my phone as I began walking out the door, scrolling through my contacts I found the name I was searching for.  Alaric Saltzman.

Maya: Hey Alaric, wanna go grab a drink?

Alaric: I was your high school teacher, isn't that a weird thing to ask?

Maya: I'll pay.

Alaric: Meet you at the grill in 10.

I chuckled as I turned my phone onto sleep mode and then I stood there in the driveway awkwardly looking around.  I ran back into the Salvatore house.

"Damon can I borrow your car for a drink with Alaric?" I yelled.  Hey he has a better car than Stefan in my honest opinion.

He was in front of me within seconds "Only if I can tag along."

"Only if I can drive." I smirked

"Put a scratch on my baby and you will face my wrath." He smiled at me as he tossed me the keys.

"Great!" I returned the smile and ran out to his car with my werewolf speed to already see him in the passenger side of the car.

"Well frig you too." I muttered as he had a smirking look painted on his face.

At the Grill

I pushed the door open to see Alaric already sitting at the bar talking to Matt.  I sat down next to Alaric and Damon sat on the other side of Alaric.  

"Hey buddy." I smiled at Alaric.

"I don't think it is okay to be having drinks with one of my former students." 

I shrugged "Just be happy I'm buying." 

I looked around and then saw Kai sitting next to me, staring at me creepily.  

"What are you looking at?" I growled then I saw Aurora next to him "Hey..." 

"Hey." Aurora said softly as she took a drink.  

"Bad day?" I asked 

"Yeah, you?" 

I sighed "Yeah, lets just say Klaus is a douche bag who can die."

"Don't you mean a dishrag?" She chuckled

"Oh, yeah." I laughed softly.  "Why is Kol here?" 

"Good question." 

Kol stood up and began walking over "Douche number 3 coming this way." I muttered softly just for them to hear.  Aurora turned around and saw him walking over.

"Hey Aurora." Kol said softly

"What did I already tell you, Kol?  Go the hell away and don't ever speak to me again." Aurora said angry but keeping her voice low.

"Who the hell is this?" Kol asked, nodded towards Kai.

"None of your business."

"Well none of your business, nice to meet you." Kol half smiled and stuck his hand out.

"Kai Parker actually." Kai shook his hand.

Within a second Kai was flung across the room with Kol standing in the same spot he was before.  I looked at Damon and Alaric, then Damon ran over to Kai and helped him up.

"You don't look good," Damon smirked 

"Thanks, Damon." Kai muttered as he flung Kol into the brick wall, almost breaking it.

"HEY HEY HEY TAKE THAT OUTSIDE!" Matt yelled.

I looked at Matt and then Alaric - then took Auroras hand and ran out the building.  "Well shit, they're fighting over you." I smirked

"Not surprising, I am just that fabulous." 

I rolled my eyes "Great job." Then Damon came out quickly

"Get in the car." he ordered, grabbing my hand and then I grabbed Aquas'.  I got in the back this time.

"Whats going on in there?" I asked, placing my head on Damons seat

"Hell." He turned his head to the side and looked at me.

"Wonderful, all over me." Aurora said softly as she looked out the window.
