Chapter 44

2 months later.

"Love, we got invited to a party." Klaus said, smiling evilly as he walked into the den.

"To where?" I asked, looking up from my book.

"Mystic falls." He threw the small paper onto the coffee table that was in front of me.

"Fantastic.  Whats it even for?" I pulled the blanket off me and sat up straight.  

"The Mystic Fall founders shit." He said, frowning.  

"Looks like all the Mikaelsons need to come, than." I smirked, patting the couch so he could sit with me.  

He sat down and laid his head on my thigh.  I played with his curly hair "I thought we left that town for good." He muttered.

"We did, we're going for a visit." I shrugged, now running my hands through his hair.

"For 3 and a half hours." He groaned.

"We'll be fine, When is it?"

"Tomorrow." He sighed, still frowning.

I kissed his forehead "Then I guess I better shower." I chuckled and lifted his head lightly and placed it on the couch as I walked to the bathroom.

The Next Day

"Nik?  Are you coming or not?!" Rebekah yelled up the stairs, I laughed and walked out the door.

"I'm here, I'm here." I heard him say as he was behind me in seconds, his head on my shoulder.  "Why are we going again?" 

"Founders for Mystic Falls people." I shrugged and threw my bag into the back, then grabbed his bag and placed it in the back.

"Elijah - you're riding with us." I pointed at Elijah as him and Kol and Finn were talking.

"I prefer not... I enjoy driving my own car." he smiled politely.

I shrugged "Your loss." 

"I'll ride with you two." Kol smirked.

"Oh hell no." I muttered.

"Oh hell yes." He smiled and jumped into the back seat.

I looked at Klaus "Please no, I'll drive; I ain't sitting in the back with that." 

The back window rolled down "I heard that." Kol said then rolled the window back up.

"Why can't you just sit in the front with Klaus...?" Rebekah asked from the other car.

"Has my dress and Klaus' tux laid out." I pursed my lips lightly.

"Move it to the back?" She poked her head up from the back seat door.

"He's probably gonna ruin my dress." I crossed my arms.

"You are a pain in the ass." Rebekah smiled and shook her head

"Be proud of that." I smiled back then quickly jumped into the drivers seat but Klaus caught the door before I could close it.

"No, No, No." He smiled and picked me up bridal style and set me on my feet outside of the car.

I shoved him playfully and jumped into the car and locked the door behind me.  He pressed his face against the window and glared at me.

"You can't take the window down with your lazier vision." I laughed

He rolled his eyes and walked to the back, I unlocked the door and he climbed inside.  "Lazier vision." He mocked and leaned against the seat. 

"Not wanting to spend quality time with your brother?" Kol asked, smiling innocently.
