Aurora and I walked into the clean, spotless home with Klaus following shortly behind. I heard his footsteps turn and walk away.
"Tea?" She asked, cocking an eyebrow
"Nah, been taking a break from it. Lots of calories." I chuckled once, sitting down at the long table that stretched to one side of the kitchen to the other.
"Seriously? Girl, you crazy." She smirked, she turned around and stared at me for a long moment. I could tell she was thinking about Kai behind the smirk.
"What?" I furrowed my eyebrows
"First, well you're bleeding." She chuckled dryly "Second, I just haven't seen you in what seems like forever."
"Oh, well shit. Where is your bathroom?" I asked
"Down the hall to the right or upstairs to the left or right."
"Too lazy to go upstairs." I smirked as I got up and walked into the bathroom, it was spotless just like the other places in the home I have seen. White as well.
I walked to the mirror and noticed my dark hair was out of its clean ponytail and blood was slowly dripping down the side of my face. I searched under the sink and found the darkest small towel there was and put it under the water. I watched the water, getting lost in thoughts.
What if they attack again tonight?
What if Klaus gets hurt? Or even Aurora?
I quickly snapped out of my thoughts and cleaned my face. I sighed as I threw it in the hamper and opened the door.
"Are you alright Love?" Klaus asked, leaning against the wall.
"I'm fine, why you ask?"
"Just worried, that was fairly shocking." He shrugged, his eyes focused on me
"Fairly?"
"We knew they would try at some point to kill us, and I am guessing Kai was aware of it as well, just wasn't expecting it to happen then. It was the perfect plan as well." He crossed his arms while his face stayed perfectly calm.
"Yeah, I guess." I pressed my lips together, looking down.
"Whats wrong?"
"Nothing." I shrugged, lying through my teeth.
"Don't keep things from me, please." He pleaded, his eyes becoming soft.
"I'm not, just rather not talk right now Handsome." I forced a smile
"Later?"
"Promise." I began to walk by him but he grabbed my wrist and pulled me against his body, I felt his breath against my ear. He lowered his head to my neck and kissed it.
"I love you." He muttered, looking deeply into my eyes
"I love you more." I smiled, feeling heat rushing to my face. He always knew how to make me feel better.
"Are we going to a hotel or we can stay here." He offered
"I say a hotel." I smirked
"Oh really?"
"Really." I planted a kiss on his cheek quickly and began walking back to the kitchen to already see Aurora gone. Please don't let her be doing anything stupid I wished
"I had a feeling you'd say hotel, so I didn't bring out bags upstairs." He shrugged
"You know me too well." I smiled
"Can you tell me whats wrong now?" he asked, his eyes full with concern
"I'm just worried they will come back."
"If they do then Aurora can take care of herself as we can take care of ourselves." He smiled, trying to comfort me.
"Yeah, I know. I just worry."
"You always do." he smirked, wrapping his arm around me while he held our two bags in the other hand.
I closed the door behind us as we began to walk to my truck "Are you sure you're fine with going to a hotel?" I asked, smirking slightly
"Yes, why?"
"You don't seem like a hotel type of guy."
"Probably because we're going to the best one." he chuckled
"Oh, of course." I laughed along with him.

"Penthouse" The speaker on the elevator said
"Penthouse? Really?" I laughed as I held my bag.
"Yes, really." he chuckled
I shook my head and continued laughing.
"What is wrong with Penthouses?"
"Nothing, just thinking about how much money you put into us just staying a few nights in a penthouse."
The doors opened to a fancy, cool color room. I stared at the light wooden flooring and white sofas
"You're kidding me." I looked at him
"Nope." He popped the p and set the bags down in front of the couch.
I stepped out of the elevator and looked up, there was a spiral staircase that lead upstairs that looked fancy as the rest of the house did.
I was quickly pressed against the wall as Klaus smirked at me. I giggled and looked at his facial features "What you doin?" I asked, running my thumb against his jaw line
"Falling in love with you every second I am by your side." He muttered, placing his hand on the side of my neck.
"Oh really?" I smiled, looking into his blue eyes.
"Really."
"Seems like I'm doing the same." I shrugged and pressed my lips together, trying to make it seem like it meant nothing.
"Oh, you don't seem like you care." He pouted slightly
"Pft, you seem to have your facts wrong." I smirked
"I am never wrong." He said flatly, his blue eyes showing enjoyment though.
"But I just proved you wrong." I continued smiling at him, holding back a giggle
"What is your proof?"
"Just kiss me you nerd." I giggled and pressed my lips against his.
He pulled away slightly "Nerd?"
"Since you have lived for more than 2 centuries you must be a nerd for how much you know." I laughed, feeling heat rise into my ears.
"True." He chuckled and pressed his lips against mine.
He pushed my back against the wall more as his body came close to mine, to make any space between us disappear. The kiss was sweet, slow and passionate then soon escalated to rough and full of lust. His hands slowly made their way up from my waist, up my arms and to my neck. I breathed heavily and bit my lip when he ducked his head to my neck, kissing it softly and making butterflies in my stomach explode.
Quickly, I pushed him against the wall next to the one we were just on and reconnected our lips after what felt like centuries. Before I knew it I was pushed onto the bed without our lips leaving. He slowly lifted my shirt over my head with our lips only parting for a split second.
