Chapter 25

Klaus pinned me against the wall, not breaking the kiss.  

"Klaus... Klaus..." I breathed between kisses

"Yes love?" 

"I have a birthday party to attend to..." I breathed, trying to catch my breath.  

"I can give you a birthday to remember here..." He muttered softly under his breath.  

"Not that I can disagree with that but... people will wonder where the hell I am." I stared at him, making eye contact.  My lips still tingled from the kiss.

"Lock the door?" He smirked slightly.

"Maybe later." I said softly smiling.  I fixed my dress and pushed him slightly away then running my hand across his chest lightly until it was out of reach.  "Are you coming?" I asked, slightly pursing my lips.

"Sure am." He fixed his tie and put back on his jacket then held out his arm for me to take.

I smiled towards him then looked down quickly when I realized I was beginning to blush.  

"You're truly beautiful..." he whispered into my ear.

"I know." I smirked, being cocky.

He opened the door and we walked downstairs.

There stood Stefan and Damon Salvatore.

I let go of Klaus' arm quickly as soon as I noticed them, then walked over to them as Klaus went his separate way.

"Hey guys..." I muttered, holding my own wrist awkwardly.

"So this is where you have been." Damon frowned quickly.

"I went to the bar with Elijah then I got drunk and I passed out here." I shrugged.

"You couldn't have come to us?" He rose an eyebrow.

"No, because I was barely walking as it was." I locked my jaw.

"Damon," Stefan placed his hand on Damon's chest, "Don't." he warned.

"What the hell is he going to do?  Kill me?  Big whoop." Damon removed Stefans hand and began walking.

"Who was he talking about?" I furrowed my eyebrows

"Klaus." He stated flatly.

"Aurora will stop him." I muttered as I saw Klaus and Aurora speaking.  They actually looked like they enjoyed each others company.  

"Hopefully..." Stefan continued to stare at my face, I turned towards him.

"What is it?" I asked

"Nothing its just... you look extremely beautiful." He muttered softly, raising his hand to place it on my face.  

I let him.

"I've missed you at the house..." He said softer than ever.

I chuckled lightly "I've only been gone for less than 24 hours... I think you're okay." 

"No... Damon has been... moody." he said the words like it was a struggle.

"Ah.  When isn't he?" I teased.

He smiled, almost to a laugh.  "I have to agree." 

"I'm going to go use the restroom." I smiled softly as Stefan lowered down his hand.  

"Alright." He walked over to Klaus and Aurora as I went my separate way.

I walked up the stairs and to the bathroom, then I was slammed into the wall... by Damon.

"Damon?" I asked, trying to ignore the pain in my back.

"Are you with Klaus again?!" He roared.  I stayed silent.

"Are you?!" He yelled louder into my face.

I pushed him, "If you weren't fucking yelling in my face I would tell you, you douche!" he stumbled.

"Tell me." He asked quieter but I could still sense the rage.

"No." I muttered.  "I still love him, though." I said quieter.

"I can't believe you!" He yelled as he slammed me against the wall again but held me by my throat.

He was thrown off of me within seconds, and Aurora and Klaus stood together.  

Stefan ran up to Damon, then Klaus threw him away from him.  Klaus grabbed Damon by his throat and everything seemed to go silent.

"Its not very nice to lay your hands on a girl without permission." Klaus teased evilly. 

I looked at Aurora, she mouthed "he won't kill him." 

I nodded then focused back to them.  

Stefan stared at Klaus "What are you doing?" He said in a normal, calm voice.

"I get a little moody." Klaus turned his head at Stefan "Mostly when it comes to her." He nodded towards me.  Stefan looked at me, I couldn't tell what his emotion was... but I'm guessing it had a hint of competition, hurt, and love.

Damon's POV

Maya stood there in fear, she can't love him!  She just got into a divorce with him for hells sake.  Doesn't effect me because no matter what happens...

I'm getting the girl

Stefan's POV

Maya looked raged by what Klaus was doing to Damon... I knew she loved the both of us, but in all honesty I couldn't help but feel a pit of jealousy.  Would she do the same thing for me if I was in Damon's shoes?  What will she do?  Will she tell Klaus to stop... will she save Damon..?  All I know is one thing...

I will fight to get the girl

Klaus' POV (for once in 24937 years)

Holding Damon against the wall with his throat... I realized something.  No not that I am evil, not that I will kill someone or something within a second.  I realized that...

I would do anything for this girl, and I will do everything to get her.
