Chapter 31

My phone buzzed, Klaus quickly pulled away as I grabbed for my phone out of the sweatpants pocket. 

Stefan: We need you at our house, Please Maya.

I sighed "We need to go to the Salvatore house."

He widened his eyes "Why?" 

"I don't know - Didn't say." The phone buzzed in my hand

Stefan: Bring Klaus, Kol is here and locked in the room.

"Kol is there and locked in a room." I rolled my eyes 

"Wonderful.  I believe I saved some clothes of yours..." 

I tilted my head to the side lightly "What?"

He shrugged "Don't ask." 

I put my hands into the air "I won't." I laughed lightly.

I opened the door quickly.

"I'm so sorry Aurora.." Klaus and I both said at the same time, Aurora giggled lightly.  I walked over to Aurora and brought her in for a hug, she gladly accepted the hug request.

"I'm here for you.." I whispered in my ear.  We let go, and she walked back, as Klaus stepped forward.

"Aurora" He said in his British accent that was as alluring as ever.

"Hi K.." She replied to him but caught off as Klaus wrapped her into a hug lightly, but quickly let go.

"Where's Kol?" He asked, with some anger in his eyes.

"Upstairs" He started to walk towards me, he placed a kiss on my head quickly then walked upstairs

"Be careful, I put a boundary spell" Aurora warned.  He looked at her; "I don't want to see you get trapped". 

He nodded, letting her know he understood, and used his hybrid skills and ran up the stairs.

"You two are getting fond of each other" I walked back over to Aurora, chugging my tea and smiling.

"Hey" She slapped her arm lightly, and I slapped her arm lightly back. "Yeah, he can be very sweet when he wants to be" She smiled at her, she looked happy for me to be here.

"Yeah.." I looked away. "Stef, can you get two more cups?" I asked. fluttering my eyelashes then laughed lightly.

"What's the magic word?" He leaned over the island, and smirked.

"Give me the tea or I will rip your heart out?" I smirked at him playfully.  

"Feisty" He chuckled, and put the water back up. "But the magic word was please, for the record"

I scoffed "I doubt that, you just don't want to give me tea." I crossed my arms, pouting slightly.

"I'll even make it for you, how about that." He smiled.

"Even better." I turned my head as Damon walked in "Hey." I nodded towards him.

"Stefan, Klaus needs you upstairs." Damons eyes hardened 

"Okay, I'll just finish here." Stefan muttered, not looking at Damon.

"I'll finish it.  You go." Damon instructed, his voice rough.

"Alright." Stefan turned around, his facial expression raging.  I heard Aurora shift her weight lightly, she didn't look like she was in fear... more worried.

Stefan ran up the stairs and Damon continued with my tea.  I sat down and Aurora followed after me.

"So, how are you and Kai?" I asked "And why was Kol in your room?" 

"I don't know where Kai is... that's why Kol is now stuck in my room because he says he killed Kai so, better lock him in there than kill him." She stared down at her now empty cup.

Damon walked over and placed two cups of tea down in front of both her and I.  "Pretty crazy original, huh?" He asked

"Yeah, I guess." I shrugged and sighed as I took a drink, it was hot.  "Holy shit!" I placed the drink down quickly and bit down on my tongue.

"Whats wrong?" Damon asked, quickly jumping up.

"Nothing." I muttered, growling.

"Maya?" Stefan asked, coming down the stairs quickly.  

"I'm fine, I'm fine." I muttered 

"Love?" Klaus asked, next to me quicker than Stefan.

"I said I was fine, Alright?" I roared, the pain slowly fading away.  "God, I'm not a child." 

I sighed and ran up the stairs with my speed.

"Maya?" A voice asked, I backed up slowly and there sat Kol.  He was sitting against the door frame.  

"What do you want?" I asked, annoyed.

"Please get me out of here." He begged, his eyes piercing into mine.

"Hmm." I pressed my lips into a straight line.  "Only if you take me out on a date." I smirked.

"Sure, deal." He said quickly.

"Who the hell am I kidding, it would be hell to go on a date with you." I laughed.  "Plus you tried killing me." I smiled innocently.

"I'm going to kill you when I get out of here." He roared, running into the invisible wall.

"Go ahead." I smirked 

"Sure will." He assured, smiling evilly.  

"I assure you, Maya, he will not lay a finger on you." Klaus said from the side of me.

"We'll see about that." Kol growled as he walked over to the bed and sat down, then threw a chair at the invisible wall, it bounced back at him and hit his chest.  "Damn." 

"I think you should go downstairs, Love." Klaus muttered in my ear, I could feel his breath against it.

"Okay." I said softly.

"Be careful." He whispered as his lips moved against my ear

"Always am." I ran my hand across his torso until I was out of arms reach then I turned around and smirked at him.  

He smiled at me, his eyes lighting up.  He actually looked happy, and I felt safe.
