Unstable ⭐Gratsu⭐

Chapter 19

I sat and looked around at everyone that had stumbled up to the hill we were on. Erza and Juvia had fallen asleep next to each other as Loke still held an unconscious Lucy in his arms.

Gajeel had walked up with bandages on him and Levy trying to help him out. Lily slowly walked behind them. Freed, Bixlow, Evergreen, Elfman, Mira, Lisanna and Laxus walked up the hill together. All of them were covered in scratches as well but seemed to be okay other than that. Others slowly came up as well. Happy had stuck with Carla, Wendy and Cana the whole time. They all stopped and looked down at Gray who still hasn't woken up yet.

"Whoa what are those marks?" Wendy came over to look at him. She lifted her hands up and closed her eyes for a moment. She then reopened them and dropped her hands. "There seems to be nothing wrong with him since I can't heal him but it also means that he should be awake right now." I gazed down at him with a longing look. She said he was a Demon Slayer. How long has he known and kept it from us? 

Why did he keep it from us?

I tried to shake my shoulder to see if that would make him stir but it didn't. Suddenly a thought came to mind. I looked up at the to girls who were both fast asleep. 

"Wendy, go get Juvia." She looked confused but nodded and ran over to get her. I watched as she placed her small hand on her shoulder and shook her. Juvia slowly opened her eyes and blinked slowly before looking over to me. She nodded and stood up, following Wendy as she walked back over. 

"Natsu-san wanted Juvia?" I nodded.

"The spell that you used on him, does it have any side effects?" She immediately shook her head no.

"If there was any type of side effect Juvia wouldn't have used it on Gray-sama." I looked back down to him as his head continued to rest on my shoulder. He looked dead if you didn't pay attention to the slight rhythm his chest had.

"She did something." I glared up at the person I had defeated. "She had to have done something to him if Juvia didn't." Levy sat down beside me as Gajeel fell over into her lap. She rested her hand on his shoulder. 

"Maybe he just needs time. He always hid away all this power and now forcfully having it come out has to have taken quite the tool on him." I sighed and looked back down to Gray. She was right. We all sat in silence for a while until we heard footsteps again. Everyone that was awake turned to see who it was.

A girl with long light pink hair and matching pink eyes was walking towards us. She had on a white outfit with black designs here and there. She looked to be no more than five feet tall. She kept walking towards us so I hugged Gray up into me.

She finally stopped in front if me. Her face was calm as she glanced down to the boy in my arms.

"I can take him for you." I glared at her as I moved him behind me.

"I don't think so." I pushed myself up to my feet and looked down at her.

"Because of the Demon Slayer being hid away within him for so long chances are he won't wake up. So hand him over." I growled at her before lunging forward. She had stepped aside making me miss. I got back up and went to take another swing but she dodged that one as well.

"Pathetic really. You can't even touch me." By that time I was furious. There is no way she can just walk up and expect us to just give away one of our members. I went to hit her again but she spun towards me. The cape that she was wearing lifted up like there was a breeze. Her hair began floating as her whole body was covered in a white light. All of a sudden a beam had sprung from her and flew towards me. I stood still in shock. What kind of magic does she use?

As I stood there in confusion I hadn't noticed that someone had ran over and pushed me to the ground. I laid with my face in the dirt as the person had their warm body on top of mine.

"Ice Make: Shield!" I gasped and looked behind to see Gray on top of me. He had put up a shield to try and stop the females attack.

"Gray." When it quieted down he dropped the ice and stood. He was between the girl and me. I flipped over onto my butt and watched as his hands turned white.

"Ah so you are awake." He got into his fighting stance instead of answering her. She smiled and leaned over to put her hand on her hip. "But you aren't very talkative."

Without saying a spell a burst of ice sprang from Gray's hands and went for her. She had jumped up and over to the side to dodge his attack. I scrambled up to my feet and stood next to him. He glanced over to me before looking back at the girl.

She held her hands above her and make a cloud form. Then her hands were held out to us, making it spring to life.

"Natsu get out of here!" He pushed me one way as he jumped back. "Get everyone out of here!" He held his hand up and made another attack form. It went flying her way but once again she was able to jump out of the way.

"I'm not leaving you!" I yelled back. He glared over to me.

"Yes you are now go! I can handle this!" Another attack was sent towards us. Both of us were able to dodge. I started running towards him as I faced back to the girl.

"Fire Dragon: Roar!" Flames lit up the space leading to the girl. She had been able to get most of her out of the way but her foot had gotten caught. I stopped next to Gray and put my hands on his shoulders.

"You better live." He nodded and smiled at me.

"Don't worry. I will." I looked behind us as she went to attack again. Before she could an arrow hit her in the side. We all turned to see Lucy sitting on the ground with Sagittarius stood in front of her. She looked loopy and thanked him before falling over into the ground. Loke had appeared again, from his own power, to lean down and pick her up.

I turned back to Gray and looked over his face half of it had the Demon Slayer marks and the other was still his normal face.

"I love you, Gray. So much. So please win this." He nodded and put his arms around my waist.

"I will win. For you." He closed his eyes and gently leaned into me. My eyes closed as soon as our lips made contact. We stood for a second or two before pulling away. I sadly looked at him as I pulled away and ran over to help people evacuate.
