(Y/N) (Y/L/N) was a recent addition to the Libra team. She was called in one day out of the blue. It turned out that she was a young prodigy in the circumstances afflicting the world at the time, even though she wasn't precisely considered a big part of Libra - no, that title was solely reserved for the young man with the All Seeing Eyes of the Gods: Leonardo Watch.

(Y/N) didn't really care that much, though. As long as she could help, she was fine. After being kicked out of her old organization, she wanted to be as useful as possible. She didn't want to risk being left out in the cold again.

But recently, the trail had become cold. There was no more information on the blood breeds that were hidden within their society, nor was there any indication to any other sort of case - like the King of Depravity one. After that one chaotic incident, he disappeared without a trace. The lack of any cases made (Y/N) restless.

She was nervous that Libra would suddenly decide that she was dead weight and they'd drop her. She knew that was a little ridiculous - after all, nobody had any cases right now - but that didn't stop her gnawing anxiety.

The continuous sound of clicking filled the large, echoing room as she thought of these things. It bounced off the walls, echoing louder than it had originally sounded like coming from the original source - the pen in (Y/N)'s hand. In the near-silent room, it was becoming a bit of an annoyance for certain members of the organization.

Finally, Zapp found he couldn't take it anymore.

"Stop doing that!" he cried as he slammed his hands on the table in front of him. He leapt up, stalking to (Y/N)'s desk, which was only a couple feet away from him.

(Y/N) glanced up to see the seething man, eyes wide and confused. "Huh? Doing what?"

"Are you being serious?" he screamed. "You're being so annoying with all that clicking and tapping you've been doing for the past thirty minutes."

The clicking sound slowly came to a halt. "Oh," was all that (Y/N) found she could say. She had forgotten just how annoying her habit was to other people. It was really the only thing that kept her calm at times, even though her mother hadn't exactly been appreciative of it either. But, then again, when was her mother appreciative of anything that (Y/N) did?

It didn't help that she was either bored or anxious all the time - the only two instances that her fidgeting habit came up. Normally, she'd just sort of tap out a rhythm or she'd start messing around with her clothes or hair. Now that she thought of it, that was probably why she always looked so messy.

But did she care? No. It was just part of her look at this point.

Putting down the pen (so as to avoid any more instances where she drove the other members near insanity), she looked outside. The sun was setting over Hellsalem's Lot, casting a golden glow over the otherwise gray clouds that always seemed to be perpetually hanging heavily over the city lately. (Y/N) idly wondered if they were going to be receiving storms in the weeks to come. It would be perfect weather for the upcoming holiday - she could stay inside and watch horror movies while the possible storms thundered outside. That's how she always celebrated Halloween - by avoiding all human contact.

Not like Halloween's happening anytime soon, she reminded herself. They were still comfortably in the month of September - nowhere close to her favorite holiday. But she didn't want to think of that.

Chattering in the background soon started up after those long moments of awkward silence that followed Zapp's outburst. It was comforting, actually, hearing the others talking. It was rather unlike how Angelus worked. People remained silent, quietly working on paperwork or investigating for a case or sometimes even preparing for the inevitable outcome of leading others to their deaths. It had been an uncomfortable environment for the lively girl.
