Leo's Questions

(Y/N) straddled the back of Leo's moped, pulling out the hair tie from her (H/L) hair. Her hair fell around her shoulders, releasing most of the tension from her scalp.

Sighing in contentment, she shook her head slightly to loosen the messy strands from their bunched up resting place on her neck.

Leo glanced back at her, giving her an odd look.

"What is it?" she asked as she caught Leo's look, her brows furrowed. "Is something wrong?"

Shaking his head slightly, Leo glanced away from her, a smile on his face. "Nothing. It's just... are you sure that you want to keep your hair down for the ride?"

Chuckling, she swept her hair behind her ears - unsuccessfully, of course. Her hair never did what she wanted it to. "Yeah. Why not?"

She could still see that odd expression on Leo's face - the one that she couldn't decipher. She so desperately wanted to, but it didn't she found that she couldn't. She just couldn't understand what Leo was thinking of.

Shrugging it off, she snatched the helmet from Leo's handlebars, slipping it over her head. As much as she trusted Leo in many other situations, she didn't exactly trust his driving. It wasn't even that he was a bad driver, it was just that he had an almost 'Lucky Abrams' sort of streak when it came to his trips on the road - he always seemed to end up injured or kidnapped.

Leo stared at her for a couple more seconds before he turned back to face the road. He finally said, "Okay. Whatever you want to do. Just don't blame me when you have a rat's nest in your hair." There was a note of teasing in his voice.

"It'll be fine," (Y/N) laughed.

The moped purred to life, vibrating slightly due to its engine. It bounced up a little as they traveled over the asphalt.

(Y/N)'s hair was blown back from her face. She giggled happily, tightening her grip around Leo's waist.

She loved the way that the wind rushed around her, weaving through her hair expertly, tugging at her clothes like a child that didn't want her to leave just yet. She loved the way the lights all blurred around her. She loved how she felt like she was flying.

She loved feeling like she used to.

And that was why, when all too soon she found herself in front of her apartment, she felt a heavy sense of loss.

Her cheeks were flushed from the brisk air and the wind blowing in her face. Despite the chill that lingered in her clothes, she found that she didn't care. She just wanted to fly again.

Reluctantly, she slipped off of the moped, unbuckling the helmet.

"Thanks for driving me home, Leo," she said gratefully, brushing back her even-crazier mess of hair.

"No problem."

He sounded like something was bothering him, which caused (Y/N) to look up, concerned.

Once again, Leo wore a frown on his face. It was weird, seeing him with such an unhappy expression for so many times in one day.

"What is it?" she demanded, placing her hands on her hips, frustrated at the looks he had been giving her all day. "Why do you keep looking at me like that?"

Leo sighed as he pulled his goggles off his face. A sure sign of a long and serious talk.

As he opened his mouth, (Y/N) held up a finger, stopping him in his tracks. "Before we get into this very deep and presumably probing talk, could we go inside? I wasn't expecting to have a long conversation, but I'd rather have it inside where it's warm, as opposed to outside, where it's cold as all hell." She raised a brow. "Is that okay with you, Leonardo?"
