one week later

They let Shelagh go home when Beatrix was 5 days old, they had to keep her to ensure nothing had damaged Shelagh or made her scarring any worse, unfortunately home wasn't safe for them to say with the baby so Shelagh stayed at nonatus with Beatrix - much to the Nun's invatation. Patrick carried the luggage into their new home and Shelagh followed with the baby, having a child in the middle of moving is probably the most inconvenient of times to do so but they made it work. Shelagh plonked herself down onto the arm that had been abandoned in the middle of the living room, she was exhausted and so was little B, she fed the baby for a while and then set her down in her cot to help move more things around.
"Stop right there Mrs. Turner! I don't want to see you lift a book let alone a book shelf!" Patrick scolded, taking his wife's hands in his own, Shelagh couldn't help but resent the fact he wouldn't let her help but she knew as well as he did that it wouldn't be good for her to tire herself out more than she already was.
"Patrick please, I want to do something." She was sighed pulling her hands out of her husbands grip, obviously annoyed that she couldn't help.
"Sit. I'll make you some tea" Patrick ordered indicating to Tim to take a break from unpacking boxes. Shelagh sat reluctantly watching her husband make tea, Beatrix started crying which meant her break time was over. Shelagh stood and picked up the baby
"Shh it's okay I'm here..." Shelagh soothed "it's all going to be okay'' She wasn't saying this to B, more to herself... Trying to hold on to the last shred of sanity. Beatrix smiled up at her mum.
"Here we go!" Patrick said beaming at his girls. He placed the cups down and "Mh-- what...?" Shelagh gasped snapping out of her trance...
''Are you... Okay?" Patrick asked, this was extremely out of sorts for Shelagh, She was realistic and always kept her head... Shelagh didn't reply for a few seconds, staring into Beatrix's eyes.
"what? oh-- Hmhm" she didn't look up at her husband, just kept her eyes on the child in her arms... Patrick raised an eyebrow at his wife, he had a sinking feeling that he didn't want to even think about.
