Chapter 10

Breakfast and Singing

Preview:
"Ok come on over this way." Niall said leading me back to the house.

"Aunt Maddy we're here for some of your delicious cookies!" Niall yelled through the house.

You could smell the faint smell of chocolate chip cookies thrifting throughout he house, causing my stomach to grumble.

Chapter 10:

"Hello!" Aunt Maddy said.

"Go to the living room I have a snacks for you kids." She said again, so Niall and I walked to the living room.

I sat down and put my guitar and my notebooks down next to me right when Aunt Maddy walked in.

"Hello kids how was your singing?" She asked sweetly placing a nice batch of chocolate chip cookies in front of us.

"It was good Aubrey." Niall said before we both grabbed a cookie and bit into it. It was like heaven but in my mouth.

"So you said you were in a band weren't you Jade? Aunt Maddy asked me smilingly.

I swallowed and answered her.

"Yes! I am in a band called little mix!" I said to her.

"And who are your band members names?" She asked me grabbing a cookie herself and taking a bite out of it.

"Perrie, Jesy, and Leigh-Anne." I said to her.

"Uh hu, Perrie sounds very familiar indeed..." She said thoughtfully.

"Aunt Maddy, Perrie is in Jades band and is engaged with Zayn." Niall commented.

I turned to him and smiled thankfully. He smiled back, but a cute smile.

"Oh yes that is why they sounded familiar!" She said again probably remembering someone telling her about them.

"Mhmm hmm.." I said taking another bite of my cookie.

"How about when you kids are done eating the cookies, you play me one of your songs you're working on." She suggested.

"If you are allowed to. I wouldn't tell a soul about it." She said jokingly.

"Well..." I trailed off, looking at Niall who nodded in response.

"I guess we could!" I said taking my guitar out of my case slowly.

"Wonderful! Let me get Henry in here to hear you two sing!" She said standing up to go fetch him, leaving Niall and I in the living room by ourselves.

"What song do you want to play?" Niall asked me while he tuned his guitar.

"How about... Little me? Since that was our first song we made together." I suggested.

"Sure!" He said smiling his cute smile again.

While we waiting, I just stunted my guitar and played some random chords.

About a couple minutes later Uncle Henry and Aunt Maddy both walked in. Wow I sound attached to them already!

"Ok, we are ready." Aunt Maddy said sitting down, Uncle Henry sitting down next to her and had smiled at us warmly.

"What song are you guys going to play?" She asked us.

"It's called Little Me and this is our first song that Niall and I wrote together." I said smiling.

"Well, whenever you are ready." She said sitting back.

"Ok. Ready?" I mouthed to Niall which he nodded to.

She lives in the shadow of a lonely girl
