So Many Secrets

Chapter Four

Once we finished our project it was 6:00. Paul then asked me, "Sabrina, can I trust you with a frightening secret?"

"Sure", I answered thinking that he wouldn't tell me about him being a wolf

"I am a shapeshifter. I can shift into a horse sized wolf. I am a wolf along with Sam, Jared, and now Embry."

I took a few deep breaths to make it look like it was a bit hard taking all of that in. After a while, I answered, "Okay", as if it was nothing.

"Wait, you believe me. This is something you see in movies, books. You say okay as if you have already seen one. And you are okay with this?"

"Why not?", I answered.

"Huh, so since you took this in so well we are going to see the rest of the pack", he said

"Wait, what?", I asked and he dragged me to my car. And he drove to Sam's house.

"Wait we are seriously going to do this", I asked

"Yep", he said. When we arrived at Sam's place. Paul told me, "Hey Sabrina, don't stare at Emily's scars, it bothers Sam."

"Let me guess, Sam accidently phased in front of her and gave her three or four scars", I said

"Well you are an extremely good guesser", Paul said. We walked inside and Sam immediately asked, "Did you tell her?"

"Yep", he answered

"Okay now let us explain", Sam said calmly

"No, let me guess. All the legends are true. You guys are muscular horse sized wolves, you are the alpha since you were the first one to phase, Jacob and Quil are next, you guys have a 108 temperature, Emily here is your imprint, is hurts when you phase, and you fight off vampires. How'd I do?", I asked. They had shocked expressions on their faces.

"How did you know?", asked Sam.

"Having no friends gives you extra time to read", I simply said. Sam had an expression as if to say sorry.

"Sabrina, may I take a walk with you?", Paul asked. I just nodded. Once we were outside I said, "Let me guess, you imprinted on me?"

"Man you are a good guesser. Anyways, are you okay with it.", he asked

"Yes, I know that you have no control over it", I said. After that, we went back inside the house. I went to sit by Emily and she asked, "Will you be hanging around here? And please say yes because honestly, I am getting sick of being around boys every day"

I chuckled, "If you allow me, yea". "So I am just asking is it a vampire that is making people disappear?", I asked. "Yeah it is but it has always gotten away," Sam said. "Well, I need to go home so, bye." I walked outside and went to my truck and went home.

Once I got home I told my mom what happened. From what happened when Paul asked if we could be friends to them knowing who the vampire is.
