So Many Secrets

Chapter Twenty

I woke to a blinding light. I blinked a couple of times until my vision was completely clear.

"Sabrina?", I heard someone question. I then sat up and saw that I was at Magnus's house. Alec and Isabelle were on both sides of the bed I was at.

"How long have I been out?", I asked. Alec sighed

"Two days", he said

"Did you call my mom?", I asked

"Yeah, we told her to stay in La Push.", Isabelle said

"I should be headed home, shouldn't I?", I asked. They both nodded

"Take it easy on training", Alec told me. I nodded

"Maybe I should come, just in case", Alec told me and I nodded. I then hugged Isabelle goodbye and Alec and I left. Alec took me to the outside of the house.

"Take it easy", he said and left. I then entered my house to see my mom in the kitchen drinking on coffee. Her head snapped towards me when she heard the door open.

"How are you, sweetie?", she asked. I could see her looking at my new rune. 

"A bit tired", I answered

"Go to sleep. But just so you know, Paul came by when you weren't here. He was worried, is it okay if I call him and tell him you're okay?" she asked. I nodded and headed towards my room. I put on some comfy clothes and went quickly to sleep.

3rd person P.O.V./ while Sabrina is asleep---

Joslyn called Paul to assure him that Sabrina is okay. She had another cup of coffee. A few minutes later Paul came through the door.

"Where is she?", he asked

"Shhh, she is upstairs asleep.", she answered

"Can I go see her?", Paul asked nervously. Joslyn thought carefully but then nodded. She led him through the halls and then stopped outside of Sabrina's room. She then opened the door and said, "In you go, I'll be waiting in the kitchen.", Paul nodded he went inside and saw her. he then noticed a new rune on her neck and walked out of her bedroom.

"What's that new rune for", he asked Joslyn. She sighed sadly

"She went to New York to help the other shadowhunters that came over here. And well she told you about Valentine and the circle right?" , she said/asked, and Paul nodded, her rune on her neck was burning and Paul furrowed his I eyebrows.

"Well, she helped them fight against the circle members. Valentine then started talking about her father to distract her and well it worked. While the others went to protect the Mortal Cup. The circle captured her and Valentine drew that rune on her.", Joslyn said with her rune still burning but her barely wincing

"Don't get her to talk about Valentine. It will only hurt her more. Make sure she takes it easy", she told Paul, he nodded and left the house to go to Emily's and Sam's.
