When I got to my room, I heard something by my window. I opened my balcony and saw Paul there.
"What are you doing?", I asked
"Nothing, walking around", he said. I picked up a pebble and showed it to Paul.
"And throwing pebbles at people's windows?", I asked, joking a bit
"Yeah, sure. Step back, I'm coming up", he said. I was going to protest but decided to step back. He then was in my room in five seconds.
"You know what, you are my imprint, so you should see everything I see. But just to be sure. I'll be right back", I said
"LUKE", I yelled. He was about to leave but turned around to see me. I then dragged him to my room.
"Why is this......", he began but stopped when he saw Paul.
"What do you need now", Luke said
"I need you to give him the power to see all of the other demons", I said
"Is it because of the.... well you know", he said. I just nodded. He then held his head and out of his fingers came a little light.
"Okay it's done.", he said
"Thank you", I said and Luke walk out of my room.
"What did he do to me?", Paul asked me
"Now you can see all of the demons", I said
"I don't even know what a demon looks like", he said
"And you don't know who other shapeshifters look like. Let me tell you, they're not pretty", I said
"Anyways, don't you have patrol or something?", I asked
"Yep, I need to leave", he said, I nodded
"Okay", I said
"Then off you go", I said pushing him out on the balcony. He then jumped off the railing. Once his feet touched the ground, he turned around to look at me. I smiled at him. We kept staring at each other and then my phone rang. I took one more glance at him and then walked over to my phone. I looked at the caller and saw that it was Alec. I then answered the phone.
"Hello?", I asked
"Sabrina, we need your help.", he said
"With what?", I asked
"Well we are in public with a bunch of mundanes and well were surrounded by circled members", he said
"I'll be right over. Where are you?", I asked
"Well we are back at home near the police station", he said
"Okay, I'll be there as soon as I can", I said and hung up. I grabbed my stele, knives, and my sword, and went downstairs. I saw my mom there and said, "Alec and the others need my help, I'll probably be home by tomorrow night", I said and left the house.
I then got where I needed to be in a minute and a half.
"What do you need?", I asked being cautious.
"Um, we need help defeating these 50 circle members", Alec said
"Seriously, you called me over for this?", I said
"Yes, well, Valentine decided to send his best members", Alec said. The circle members had us surrounded. They were moving closer and closer. We then started to stab them and soon enough we started fighting our own little group. Valentine then came out of the group I was fighting. I kept my sword up.
"Ah, Nathan's daughter. I always wondered when we would meet again. Didn't you?", he said/asked circling me.
"Your father was a good man, fought for what he thought was right. And look where that got him.", he said and chuckled
"He had pretty cool powers, just like your brother had", he said smiling
"I watched your family before, well you know, I killed part of your family.", he said with an evil grin. One of the circle members came beside him. The circle member was just grinning.
"Your father and I were friends when we were kids.", he said
"We started out as enemies. We then broke each other's noses and believe it or not, we bonded over how fun that was and we then were friends that day.", he said I didn't even notice that I was starting to lower my sword. He then kept talking about memories with my dad. I then lowered my sword completely. Five strong circle members then grabbed me from behind me and pinned me against a wall. Alec, Isabelle, Clary, Jace, and Simon fled to protect the cup.
Valentine then came up to me and drew me a rune on me like the one my mom had, and it burned so much. I just winced a little, that was the only sign of pain I showed. Once he was done his men dropped me on the ground and they left chuckling. After a few seconds, I blacked out.
