Chapter Fourteen

    Today was graduation. It's Thursday. I was super excited. Isabelle was helping me with my outfit and gown. She was almost with my makeup. The others are going to graduate to. Once we graduated we are going to have to join the patrol. After the battle with the newborn vampires, they will leave.

"Okay, I am now done", Isabelle said. I looked in the mirror and I thanked her. I just never really showed my excitement.

"Well what know?", I asked her

"I'm not sure", she said back

"Shall we go to school?", I asked. My mom, Clary, and Alec were in the kitchen.

"You look, beautiful sweetie, you too Clary and Isabelle", Mom said

"Thank you Mama", I said and hugged her.

"Thank you Ms. Adams", Isabelle and Clary said

"Call me Katheryn", Mom said

"Well it's time for us to go", I said and the girls and I left. We got in my truck and I drove us to school. When we got there, a lot of people started staring, but I wasn't paying attention to that, I was thinking of my dream. Since I was in deep thought I didn't notice that Clary and Isabelle left and that Paul joined my side.

"What are you thinking of?", he asked and startled me. I jumped a bit.

"You scared me", I said

"I saw you and the others training in the woods", he said

"And?", I asked

"And that is a lot of training.", he said

"We'll, were used to it.", I said and he gave me a look, that told me that he wanted to know more, "I mean, some of us have done that since we were 6", I said. His mouth was wide open. I chuckled.

"It's not a big deal", I said and he then shrugged.

"Well, it's graduation today!", he said

"And?", I asked

"I will officially be done with school", he said since is a senior.

"You forgot about college", I said

"I don't think I'm going", he said

"Well, unlike you, I have one more year of school", I said

"What about you?", he asked

"What about me?", I asked

"Are you going to go to college", he asked

"Not sure", I said

"What? Did colleges not want you?", he said in a baby voice

"No, many colleges excepted me, except, with my dad being, like a leader, I might be a group leader and not go to college", I said as I shut my locker shut and walked to class. Paul eventually caught up. I groaned.

"What?", he asked

"Nothing", I groaned. We then arrived at class. Today, we were free to do anything that we want to do. I went into Andrew's classroom with Paul. I went to my seat with Paul and started working on my art.

"Is that the masterpiece that will win the art contest?", he asked

"No, I'm not going to enter. The fight is on the same day.", I said and he shrugged. Andrew walked up to us.

"Ugh, am I in trouble again?", Paul asked I chuckled

"Not this time. Just so you and Jared know, Sabrina and Alec will be joining you guys with patrol", he said and walked away. I just put my attention back to my drawing.

"So you are going to join patrol at night?", he asked

"Yes", I said

"Aren't you, like, scared", he asked

"No", I said kind of annoyed

"Okay, fine, you just had to say that you are annoyed, you're mean", he said

"Thank you", I said

"Ugh", he groaned and put his head down. I sighed.

"Still the immature Paul", I said

"Oh my god, you are so annoying", he said

"I can live with that", I said

"What is wrong with you?", he asked

"That I am some kind of monster hunter", I said and put my attention back to drawing.

I hugged my mom as our group of shadowhunters walked to the cars.

"Well I am know going to be a senior, although I think I am going to graduate early this time", I said

"Okay, what are you going to do this summer?", mom asked

"Probably train", I said

"That's all you ever do, I am going to call Alice to irritate you, you know", she said and I sighed. We then climbed into my truck with the boys in the trunk. I drove us home. When we got home I just went to my room and changed my outfit.

I then went to sleep.
