So many of you guys answered the question at the end of last chapter and idk it made me really happy so thanks a bunch for that! <3
Tanith's POV
The light of the empty desert terrain was dying as I shivered slightly, watching Gerard check the camera, his head under the weird cloth hood thing.
Fin took yet another poleroid of the scene, carefully placing it in his back pocket.
"I can't get over how awesome that streak in your hair is." I smile. We all got our hair dyed early this morning, and it was a really different scene for us all.
"Yours is defiantly cooler." He replies, putting his camera away. I tug at a string of my newly dyed dark blue hair and smile some more.
"Hey kids." Mikey says as he wanders over, his sunglasses tucked half into his shirt.
"I still can't get over your new look." Fin says. Mikey passes it off with a shrug before picking me up and placing me on his shoulders.
"Aren't I too heavy for this?" I ask in concern. "I don't want to hurt you or anything."
Mikey laughs it off. "It a tradition, Tan. Even if it is hurt it wouldn't matter, but your light as a feather."
I smile and decide to mess up his hair once more.
"That's a wrap!" Gerard exclaims. A chorus of shouts comes from all the crew and the actors, and Mikey puts me down.
"We did it!" Fin yells happily into his camera.
I jump over and pull him into a hug, laughing and cheering with all the others.
Fin smiles and checks his watch. "It's seven fifty eight. I think we started at like...four am? We were up by three. So it's defiantly been a long day." He laughs a little, and I smile as I watch him do his thing.
"So I'm gonna end the video here and go wash all this stuff off." He gestures to all the 'dirt' on his face and arms. "I'll see you all in the next video, which should be out in a few days! Stay safe guys!" He smiles for a good few seconds before closing his camera and putting it into his bag.
The two of us end up sitting on the dusty ground as we wait for the adults to give us the all clear to get in the cars.
"He's really ending it?" Fin asks, leaning back on his hands with a relaxed smile.
"He's really ending it." I confirm with a grin. "I made him talk to Ryro for like, three hours the other night and now he knows he has to do it."
"Good riddance." Fin says. "I don't like hating people, but I hated her. She treated you like shit."
"Hopefully Sarah will be her replacement." I comment.
"I like her." Fin nods. "She's nice. And I think she'd be good for him. And you."
"Me?"
"Yeah, you." He shrugs. "A good female roll model is never a bad thing. Especially when your a teenager."
"Teenagers scare thE LIVIN' SHIT OUTTA ME!" Frank screams in the background. We ignore him.
"I guess your right. I mean, Ember was there for me for a long time but I just don't see her anymore." I flick a rock towards my best friend.
"Don't think I'm telling you to replace Ember with Sarah." Fin says softly, flicking the rock back to me. "Because I'm definitely not. But Sarah would fit in well, you know?"
I smile and flick the rock once more. "Yeah, I know."
---
"I don't want to do this!" Brendon groans in frustration as he flops on the couch.
"Yes you do." I poke him. "We've had this conversation three times already Bren. She's a bitch who doesn't like anything about you except the credit in your bank account. Do you even wanna break up with her?"
"I hate her Tan, but it's not easy to end something like this." He reasons.
"Bull. Just call her." I toss him his phone. "Or so help my god I will call Ryan Ross down here."
"Okay, okay!" He says hurriedly, opening his phone and dialling her number. He holds it to his ear and we wait.
"Hey Jenny." He says quickly. "Uh huh. Look, things aren't working out. I wanna break up."
I hear her scream angrily from my spot beside him and wince.
"Yeah, well your abusing my daughter!" He responds angrily. "I'm done with your shit. Don't come back."
He hangs up a moment later, not even waiting for a response, before turning to grin at me. I smile back and he wraps his arms around me in a hug. "I'm free!" He says.
"Your free." I confirm. "I suggest you call Sarah and organise something for this weekend. I can stay at Pete's if you want?"
He nods. "I'll text her in a bit, I promise."
I smile some more.
---
"Do I look okay?" Brendon asks for the billionth time.
"You look great." I reassure him. "Besides, it's not even a date."
"A friendly gathering is a good start." He reasons. I nod my agreement.
"Friendly gatherings don't require you to dress in nice clothes." I remind him. "And besides, your gonna be taking it off again soon."
He shoves me playfully and begins to walk downstairs. "We're going to a water park!" I laugh.
He rolls his eyes. "I'm sure that's what you meant." Before I can make a witty response the doorbell rings.
"I got it!" I say instantly, rushing towards the door. I open it, and there stands Sarah. She's wearing nice yet comfortable clothes and one of those massive sun hats, a bag slung over her arm.
"Tanith!" She smiles, opening her arms for a hug. I accept happily, and when we pull away Buddy decides to leap into my arms.
"Hi Buddy." She adds, giving his head a pet.
"Hey Sarah." Brendon says, almost nervously. He pushes his hair back with his hand yet again, and she smiles.
"Hi Brendon."
I was gonna write more on this but nah. I'll dedicate the next chapter to the adventures at the water park.
Who do you want to go along?
Tan, Brendon and Sarah are gonna be there, but I'm gonna need to add a few there for my plan to work! Please leave your suggestions guys!
Also thanks to my good friend MLI0004 for suggesting some stuff! Love ya fren!
Hopefully the next one will be out v soon.
