I made my way through the paddock blindly, I had no clue where the hell I was going. I just didn't want to hang around there and hear Nico trying to come up with ridiculous excuses. Although I had noticed that he hadn't followed me out of the garage. I suppose that gave me my answer. But how could he? How could we spend that week in Italy getting to know each other, and the phone calls and messages these passed two months and then all the while he had a girlfriend?! Guess they are all the same, no matter how nice they appear to be. They're all assholes.
NICO'S POV
After Victoria had left me standing there, I didn't know what to do. I knew going after her was the right thing to do, I needed to explain the situation to her. She needed to understand, but she wasn't making it easy. "Who was that" she hissed from behind me. I had forgotten she was still there. "what are you doing here Amy?" I snapped back at her. She really brought the bad side out of me. "I came to see you Nico, I need to see you" she purred at me, the way she always used to when she wanted something from me. Usually money. "What for?" I pushed passed her into my room as she stood in the doorway. I needed to get changed and go and find Victoria. "I want you Nico, can't you see that" she whined, suddenly her hands were on my abs, pawing at me the way she used to. "Stop it Amy" I snapped at her, pulling myself away from her. "If you didn't want me then why did you answer my calls?" she asked, smugness lacing her voice. I grunted in frustration as I tried to pull off my race suit. "I can help with that baby" she purred again, I heard her heels click across the floor and I spun round in time to stop her laying a finger on me again. "Just leave Amy" I snapped once more. "Just leave" I snarled through gritted teeth. I really couldn't be dealing with this. I needed to go and find Victoria. Amy smirked at me, "I see I still get you all hot and bothered." she backed towards the door. "I'll be waiting in the Hospitality area for you" she winked and then she was gone. "fuck!" I threw my boot across the room. It hit the door with that much force I dented it.
.........
As soon as I changed back into my team shirt and my shorts, I grabbed my wallet and phone and left my room. I didn't have a clue where she would be, or even if she was still at the track. I tried calling her and I wasn't surprised when she didn't answer. My mind wasn't necessarily thinking logically right now, and my best option would have been to call Paul or Laura, see if she was with them. But of course, in my blind panic, I didn't. I ended up running around the paddock in the blistering heat searching for her.
I avoided the Force India building for fear of seeing Amy again, I really wasn't in the mood for that again so soon. If ever. But I knew I was going to have to face her some time and get this mess sorted out. But right now all I wanted to do was find Victoria.
Soon enough though, I did. I'd passed the Sauber garage, the Williams and the Ferrari too and just as I was nearing the far end of the paddock, that's when I saw her. I stopped in my tracks and watched. She was stood with the last person I would want her with. Raikkonen.
I could only see the back of her, but I could tell she was crying. My heart snapped in two. I had made her cry. No, Amy had made her cry. I just wanted to make it right. Be honest with her, but I didn't even have chance to do that. I watched as she spoke to Kimi, animated with her hands as she did. Kimi stood there listening, hands slouched in his short pockets, those stupid fucking black and gold Oakley's on his face. His Lotus snap back covering his long hair. Who did he think he is? The guy comforting my girl. Was all I could think. That made me more angry. Then I saw them move off, in the direction of the Lotus Hospitality suite. What the hell was I gonna do?
