Girls Don't Like Boys, Girls Like Cars And Money

"What you guys doing in here?" Jemma was the first one of us to voice our opinion on the new situation. "we thought we'd come liven things up babe" Ricciardo, grinning from ear to ear at her stood on the poolside, hands on her hips looking at them all. Daniel's smile dropped, worried he'd screwed up. Guess who wore the trousers in their relationship?!

"we've brought provisions!" Jenson interrupted, smiling widely, waving a huge bottle of champagne at us. I started laughing as we stood, joining Jemma on the poolside. Jessie beamed a smile at her man and then launched herself into the pool, swimming across to him. Jemma began grinning and joined them, followed by Minttu and Vivian. Myself and Laura were last. We both walked over to the edge, the other girls freaking out at how cold it was, well, compared to the hot tub anyway. Laura leaned. Forward, readying her big toe to test the temperature, but my childish side kicked in, and I nudged her, causing her to lose her balance and fall straight into the water.

"every time!" she huffed at me as I stood on the side watching her, clutching my sides laughing. "Argh!" I yelled, finding myself falling in too.

"what the hell J?!" I spluttered looking round to find Jenson had snuck out the pool to push me in. He was bent over laughing, especially when I shook my fist at him. "there goes your number one status!" I yelled. Kimi and Nico looked round at me, "number one?" they both questioned, then looked at each other. Now I was laughing again.

"you finished puffing your chest out?" I rolled my eyes as he joined me. "I did not know I was second best" he pouted, causing me to laugh, "Kimi, it's JB, course he's gonna be one of my favourite drivers" I grinned, hearing the Fin muttering in his mother tongue. "besides, you're number one to Minttu" I nodded in her direction, we watched her briefly as she joined in with the others, which is a first for her. She was usually pretty quiet. He smiled wryly. "I guess so... I think I was a little distracted to realise before" he said, making me grin. "she's good for you" I replied, watching the game. "and I have to admit, Hulkenberg isn't so bad" he sighed, making me snort laughing. "have you got things straightened out now?"
"kinda" I said, looking to Kimi then over at Nico. "there's just a few things I need to talk to him about"

The game of Polo had ended and Kimi had sloped off with Minttu. The rest of us were sat in the hot tub, talking about our plans now the season had ended.

"so where are you off to next?" Jenson asked me after everyone else had said they were having some down time. "New York" I smiled, "I have another Victoria Secret shoot to do." I told him. "I'll be there around a week, then from there I'll be flying home. I'm bridesmaid for a friend of mine, and I've gotta meet with her to organise colours and styles for her make up before the big day."
"sounds cool, when is she getting married?"
"Christmas Eve" I laughed, "so you'll be spending Christmas time with your family?" he asked, I shrugged, "I think my mum is going on holiday this year, and my brother is flying to the US to visit his girlfriend" I explained. "oh no, that's a downer" Rosberg added. I smiled and nodded, "I hear Monaco is lovely at Christmas time" Nico suggested shyly. I glanced over at him and he was pink. I smiled, everyone else was grinning too. "yeah we all have places there, if you were free anytime over Christmas we could get together" Vivian suggested. I smiled, "sounds good, I'll see what I can do"

"so what's on the Christmas list this year Jem?" Laura asked her, the guys had gone off to the other end of the pool messing and joking around, so our conversation took a turn to fashion and ultimately Christmas presents. "Daniel said him" she groaned, we laughed, "I told him, Girls Don't like boys, we like cars and money" she beamed. "'Shoulda been a driver then' was his reply". I chuckled, he had a point. "so I'll probably settle with some perfume, if I don't tell him he doesn't have a clue" she sighed. "same here" Laura agreed. "Paul's not that bad" I said, "Vick, you usually help him" she sassed, making me grin. "fair enough" I chuckled. "what about you guys? What are your plans for Christmas?" Jemma asked me. I shrugged, "we haven't discussed anything passed this weekend yet. To be honest Christmas hasn't even entered my head yet." I confessed. "Nico seems up for you visiting though" Jessie smiled. I nodded, "I guess so" I replied, "I bet he gets you something for Christmas" Jemma cooed, "I bet it's really romantic too" she added, a dreamy smile on her face. I couldn't help but laugh. I guess Nico and I had more to talk about than I thought.

NICO'S POV

"c'mon Nico mate, what's the deal with you and Victoria? You seem pretty attached?" Daniel asked, I smiled, "we're good." I nodded, "I'm enjoying being with a normal girl" I laughed a little. "yeah, we couldn't believe that crap with Amy. Man, what a fruit loop" Dan gasped. Jenson chuckled, "I know, it was a pretty difficult time, hopefully she'll get the help she needs"
"yeah and leaves you guys the hell alone" Dan nodded. "Vick seems cool though" he added. I grinned, glancing over at her. "yeah, I haven't met anyone like her" I said, still watching her laughing with the girls. "I felt that way with Vivian." Rosberg said, "once you know, you know right?" the rest of the lads nodded. "when they like you for you, and don't care about the job, they're keepers" Paul added. "especially when they have careers of their own" Jenson nodded, pointing his beer bottle at me. I sighed and looked back at Victoria, she looked over at me and smiled. I instantly blew up inside, "mate, I think you're officially hooked" Jenson said as he slapped my back.
