Too Much Too Soon?

NICO'S POV

I nervously scratched the back of my neck. "so what's up?" she asked, sitting back down on her lounger. "I think I've done something stupid"

Laura looked up at me with a frown. "I may have accidentally said the L word this morning" I sighed, cringing at the thought. "oh" Laura sounded surprised. "yeah" I nodded, looking up at her. "and you didn't mean it?" she asked. I sighed, "well, I've not known her long at all, but yes... I do. Things have moved so fast and a lot has happened since I've known her. But when you know, you know, don't you" I said, Laura smiled and nodded, glancing over at Paul. "so what's the problem?" she asked, looking back to me. "well, I said I was crazy about her, and I said I'm completely in love, and then I clammed up." I blushed, "and Victoria didn't react to it, she just told me she was crazy about me too" I explained. I noticed Laura smiling at me. "knowing Vick, she's probably seen that you were embarrassed so she's acted like she didn't hear you" she told me, I frowned, "doesn't mean that she doesn't feel the same nico" she explained, "just keeping her guard up from what's happened and probably incase you didn't mean it as it's so soon" she added. I nodded. "but honestly," I looked up as she spoke, "that girl is the happiest I've seen her" she smiled, glancing over my shoulder. "and whatever happened last night, well, it's sure put a spring in her step" she winked. I couldn't help but laugh, looking away as my shyness took over.

"What you guys talking about?!" her voice sang as she joined us, dropping down onto the lounger beside me. I looked at her, still embarrassed from Laura's comment. "Nico's just telling me how he's looking forward to the show" she teased me, then getting up from her seat, leaving us alone.

"are you?" she raised her eyebrow at me, flashing that playful smile she has. I chuckled and nodded. "very much." I looked to her. "can't wait to see my girl up there on the runway"
"your girl?" she asked, making my stomach drop. My face must have given away my feelings as she started to giggle. "I'd love nothing more than to be your girl" she blushed with a smile. "it's taken you long enough..."
